Are they potatoes? Are they eggs? More importantly, HOW are they growing on a cloud?!
The spud simply does not care, and grows anyways.
Here we go!
This was an interesting year - it was rather work busy so I didn’t have much time to draw stuff for myself…that seems to be the trend, ahaha. On the flip side, I have a bunch of projects that I worked on (including an animated feature!) that should be coming out in due time!
It’s hard that I can’t show my work until it actually premieres, but even then this platform is not suited for hosting animation or anything rigging related. There actually really isn’t a place out there where I can show people what I do! Maybe Tumblr? Gumroad if I want to make free or low cost rigs? Artstation??
I don’t think there’s a solid answer, so it feels like i’m stuck in limbo with not being able to post artwork until it’s something “more traditional”. And sometimes that literally translates to once a year when I can carve out the time for Artemis’ picture.
I’m still around, but gosh dang I wish I could show people what I actually do. Anyone got thoughts on that?

In an opulent world where the gods get their powers from social media adoration, struggling artist Sundiata joins the talent competition “Who Wants To Be A God?” in a desperate attempt to be
seen and impress the most popular deity of all: Maadi, the Goddess of Plenty. Sundiata wins by a fluke, shocking the world by becoming the new God of Creativity. Ascending to the realm of the
gods, he will discover what it means to be worshipped by the masses, and who Maadi really is behind her facade“You Give Me Heart” - Directed by Lesego Vorster – South Africa

Here’s that November Scarfox prompt, I missed it last year so I had to get something out for this one!
Another year come and gone!
It seems like, every time I decided to do a “bigger” piece than usual, life decides to clown on me and throw my plans out the window. This year wasn’t as rough as the stuff that happened in 2020, but this piece came out later than that one since I essentially had to put it on pause for 2 months while I moved and my work hours went nutty. Thankfully, I finally carved out a weekend where I could wrap it up!
I’ve worked with a lot of different studios this year…and i’m starting as a supervisor later this month in fact! Fingers crossed, I think this’ll be a fun experience that gets me closer to where I want to be.
Artemis insisted I treat himself this year with a (non canon) chill morning for them. I think this is one of his dreams - everyone together and happy and alive!

Boop, another Scarfox prompt, just trying some stuff out! These last 2 were pretty experimental. :o
(June prompt will be uploaded when I can finish off the shading. Digital watercolour is kicking my butt.)
