the cowboy slams his fist into the polished metal of someone’s car, making you flinch and turn around at the loud noise. what’s gotten into him now? sure, he’s loud and can act rather brash, but you have never seen him yell ‘honey’ out of nowhere.

“what’s wrong?”

“you’re so adorably beautiful! i love you so much i want to kiss you!”

boothill covers his mouth in panic, shocked at the atrocious sentences that slipped past his mouth. first of all, he’s supposed to say that you’re such a peabrain and that he wants to kick you in the face for it! and seconds, he’s not supposed to expose himself!

you, on the other hand, have your jaw dropped on the floor and your heart rate speeding up uncontrollably. did he just said what you think he did?

“boothill, you—”

“no, you heard me wrong! i said that you’re an angel sent to me by the aeons and that i will peel your oranges for you and feed you myself!”

he ends up crouching down, pulling on his hair in frustration and embarrassment—he swears to get back at whoever messed up his system and thinks of a way to confess to you without sounding so stupid.
