Been a short while but between one assignment and artblock I haven’t really had much chance to draw anything personal. But a little fan art for a movie and story that is very near and dear to me!!
I loved The Little Humpbacked Horse/The Magic pony, I grew up on this movie and this little critter lives in my head to this very day!!
And here we have the many shades of OUAT’s Pinocchio!
Finally. Freaking. Got this done. It started with just the coloured turnarounds but I’ve been meaning to make a little sketch page of this guy.
Anyhow yeah have a bitch ton of this single man, both from the Wish Realm, himself and his younger selves <333
this showed up in my FB memories, the lightning bolt trick! I don't sketch out the lightning bolt much nowadays but it's still super helpful when I need to lay out tricky arms and leg poses. And I still apply the logic of it, especially with how I draw arms :' ) Biggest thing it helps with is shape breakdown and visualization, we gotta use whatever works to break down shapes into simpler concepts for our brains 👏💓

Remembered the existence of this image and thought YES the perfect candidates for this would absolutely be @naivesilver ’s delightful Court of Misfits. Ft. Archie cause I thought out of all of the parental figures and adults in their life that I’m aware at this moment in time he’d be the funniest to use DJHTK
