Introductory Post Time!

Y'know, outside of reblog/tag chains, I realized a fatal error on my part. I never properly introduced myself, or shared interests. With that being said, it’s about time I changed that!

  • I go by Hikari or Cas. Feel free to call me either!
  • As seen on my profile and recent birthday animation, I’m 24.
  • Franchises I actively have brainrot about: My Inner Demons, The Legend of Zelda, A Hat in Time, OK KO, and Darksiders. You’ll mostly find MID content on my blog, though. I will try to be more multifandom, though, to showcase these interests!
  • I am a digital 2D artist, having graduated from college with an advanced diploma for game design and animation (but have yet to do anything with it due to work lol)
  • I post/reblog some OC/FC art content, too. (Just forewarning if that isn’t your cup of tea!)

Small little fun facts:

  • Favorite foods: Steak, cheesecake, and mint chocolate chip ice cream.
  • Favorite animal: Foxes
  • Favorite genres of music: Power Metal, Hard Rock, Electronica (generalized)
  • Favorite color: Purple! (This purple tho: HEX: 7A006E | RGB: 122, 0, 110. Dunno what it’s called, but it is the purple I gravitate to.)

anyways guess who has 2 more OCs now (as if I needed more)

(granted there were more characters involved in the dream, but with Reikai (left) I woke up and could very much tell where it put 5 different characters in a blender from 1 current hyperfixation and 4 other sleeping hyperfixations. Styba (right) was less obvious since I didn't get a good look @ her before the immersion was broken but I DID recall the hair and character dynamics and where that came from)

It is really hard to articulate an answer without having The Brain Fog, but now that my mind is good to go, I’ll say this:

A lot of the characters have such good chemistry with one another, that it’s hard to determine which one is the top one, much less which ones are the top three.

But, if I had to choose within the aimed “canonical” romance, I’d say Ava x Pierce are the strongest. In my eyes, Pierce genuinely tries for her a lot of times, even without romantical love being there. This man actually began to care for her and her thoughts (yes, he may have stolen cereal just to make sure she didn’t starve for the motive of “we have to learn about this new world and she’s our way of doing so”, but he could have easily Not Done That as well, so that’s care in my book.) Hell, he even was the one to talk to her and ask if she cared for him and the other Daemos, which helped him see her stance, as well as explain to her that care is rare, if at all existent or displayed. Later down the line, this care is shown more in all of them. Ava getting sick, Ava leaving them around the festival and meeting back, etc. No matter what, it’s become more than just her being their prisoner and impromptu tour guide, and her being there for them, despite her rude and anti-social approach on sociability. This is just my perception though, of course, as art (even in Minecraft Roleplaying Series) is interpretive.

On the crack ship side of things, Ava x Lorelai. They bounce off each other super well, and may have more in common than they both know. As how I perceive it, Lorelai is rambunctious and loud, and Ava’s socially distant and awkward. But there were times that, despite Ava pushing her away, she does show care enough to still talk to her, even if most times it’s cat things from her own house cat like pressing the answer button for her. And it’s proven further when she smacked Steve at the festival for breaking up with Lorelai on the basis of her being “too much” for him. What sells it for me is Ava literally says “No one disses you like that except me.” and even asked to hang out the following week since “that’s what friends do.” There is a lot of potential there, with it being slow burn, but turning into something more beautiful later.

Hello, hello, it is i, load!

With something that was a meant to be a response to a reblog chain i hadve with hypnoi...


But I decided to make my response into its own post instead…for I have a lot to say. (I tried to restrain myself but– )

(And in my experience reblog chains that have a lot of reblogs and/or are really long can cause lag. Idk if their device experiences it but just in case i didn't want them to deal with the lag ^^”.)

I also had thoughts about making this type of post before as well. So I additionally took this as an opportunity to finally make it. I hope that's alright.


And now, I just wanna say, I will be going into detail on all my thoughts about almost everything about My Inner Demons. The writing, the story, the worldbuilding, the characters, the scenes, about almost everything.

And additional heads up because despite this show meaning alot to me, and something that I've created related to it has helped me through so much and something I've poured blood, sweat and tears into.


There's going to be sections that may not be pretty. Where I can't hide my feelings when talking about some of these certain points.

Also that I'm not a professional, these are just my personal thoughts, feelings and opinions on Aphmaus show.

OH MY GOD, you put it into words I couldn’t even hope to start explaining!!!

This is why I am pro-rewrite when it comes to this series altogether because there are so many loose ends that need to be tied and some awkwardness that needs to be shoved away. MID is actually, well, mid, but I love it for a lot of reasons. The potential, the story it does have (albeit minimal), and even though we didn’t get a season 2, it also makes me wonder. What’d happen if we did get a season 2? Would it still be romance-heavy, like season 1 was? Would it actually get into Daemos lifestyle? Find out next time, on My Inner Dragon Ball Z–

But seriously, this was a really good read, and I share a lot of the opinions on the characters, the story, the flow, and everything. But, at the same time, gives me a newfound love for it. There is substance there, and it makes some people want to expand that substance themselves, myself included. The joy of being in a fandom, as well as the joy (and sometimes frustration) of enjoying something held by that fandom.
