the canon of my stories is constantly developing and this blog has been around since late 2016, so take whatever is more recent as more accurate and the rest as just vibes ✌️

honeybee (gay monsterpeople western) and thicker than water (dragons and people live together and the city is alive with blood) are the primary stories rattling around my head at the moment

cw for occasional: body horror, gore, and sexual content. generally speaking, nothing graphic will be posted without a warning, but these things are varying degrees of central to my stories (esp the body horror)

god gives his drawing ideas with the weirdest head angles to his bravest (stupidest) artists

FIGHTING with this one. it's diptych too and ALL of the head angles are weird however i am nothing if not tenacious and WILL get these drawings to a point where i like them and i think this yarrow is looking. alright but the ideas are makign me chew on drywall so i gotta execute this one way or another will it be alright after i sleep on it? who knows but tonight it is drawn and the file has been saved by the artist. it is an average spring evening: my bedtime well and past me the air conditioner making me fucking cold. and as i stare at this canvas. my ambition is twice as foolish as usual wip suggestive tagging. just in case

oh Absolutely. like i don’t imagine it’s common and a lot of people are like “why would you willingly do that” but yeah. especially as the experimentation gets more stable and consistent, there would be more people who are like “fuck it i’m going gila monster mode bye fuckers”

this has me thinking about characters who would willingly and enthusiastically undergo humodification bc like. i mean i would jump on the shit in a heartbeat myself. i’ve also been toying with the idea of multi-animal humods, so just. stuff for me to think about when designing and building characters for this world bc i’m definitely getting to that point

maybe i should have finished the scripting for this Before i started thumbnailing it

but i didn't <3 still don't have any inclination as to how i'm gonna line or color this one i'm thinking b/w though i'd LIKE to maybe figure out a process where i could sketch things digitally print that then do the lines traditionally with my fountain pe but alas we only have a b/w laserjet printer which. i could actually imagine how to execute things using it but i don't know if it'll like working with anything other than basic ass copy paper and i don't trust copy paper with my ink and also i'm not gonna pay for printing if i can help it wip

guys i’m on my bullshit again

finished a 20+ hour illustration in a week for work i have been DEPRIVED of drawing them also these are Hella thumbnails and therefore incomprehensible i need to figure out where to take this from here oigh i think i'll prolly end up re-sketching this in part bc i realize my comic pages tend to not have a lot of panels which is not a bad thing but i'm trying to see if i can bring more..idk nuance into it? i feel like my comics are so PLAIN. i wanna get weird and shit with it. but at the same time...the patience.......... naturally i have no clue how i will be coloring this. or lining it for that matter i am fucking. balling wip

one of the fun things about being an art teacher is that you can use your ocs in your example projects and no one can stop you

it'll be like. the night before class like fuc i gotta make an example for tomorrow and i don't wanna use my brain so: ocs half of these are actually like. a year old it's been awhile since i taught the fantasy creature class i teach comics more now also not posting this to main bc these were designed to show 8-11 year olds so i wasn't like. putting my all into it hdglkfdh but i do think these are cute also i feel like when i say i'm an art teacher ppl think i'm like. doing this full time in a classroom i do not i teach classes at local art centers and workshops i could NOT do this full time art serena pyrithaea leon vance grimm wrench
