this was an excuse to draw roo/mob sprinks tail while i redesign him (still trying to think up a name)
I’ve announced it elsewhere but I officially plan on converting the Mob AU into it’s own original series with original characters, I’m already starting with the redesigns/ect.
I’m sorry if anyone is possibly disappointed by the change with the mob universe series becoming it’s own original thing, i know people had a lot of fun ideas with it connected to fnaf but i gotta have the freedom to do what i want and not be tethered to it needlessly. It was more of a hindrance, it was too far removed from the source material and my sign that it needed to happen was seeing people guess incorrectly that the story beats would be the same or similar to canon. It had no relevancy to the source whatsoever, I liked the worldbuilding but most of the legwork was all original content, which defeats the point of an AU.
It will remain mostly the same, as it was mostly an original concept, I’m just changing the characters a bit.
ok ok! i got another ask for ur au. does spring ever eventually feel any remorse for his actions and how does alex feel about what spring did?
It’s going to be in Hare-brained as a focus so don’t want to say too much. to give a brief answer though, Spring is a coward and wanted power, but feels remorse, he has it in his mind though that it was “a necessary evil”. Alex is presently apathetic, they can’t change the past and he’s desensitized, selfish, and generally apathetic/not bothered as much as he should be by things. They’re both not good people, even if they fixed things slightly it doesn’t undo the damage or change the type of people they are
I hope this isn't strange (and I also hope I haven't sent this before? I've had this thought for a while) but I've been sharing your Hare-Brained comic with a friend of mine, who knows a lot about FNAF, whereas I know absolutely fuckall about it and am just kind of along for the ride (I've known you since Twitter, i think i started following you from one of your general furry art posts maybe, we've spoken a little but i am shy,) and we're both absolutely Enamoured with Alex. my friend is really tickled that you've chosen Springtrap of all people to pair him up with, as in, they wouldn't expect a romance involving him, we're both really entertained by the comic and I'm really excited to see it all out in narrative form. I remember the Twitter threads and stuff you would write about it :] I just wanted to share sjsjsns i mean all of this as a positive and I hope it comes off that way ':D

anyways what can I say, Alex is a himbo lol. There will be some other things about him that set things in motion as well but I don’t wanna spoil anything. I love him though, a part of what makes them entertaining to me is the contrast. Spring is neurotic, egotistical, and a busybody, whereas Alex is simple and down to earth. Spring would fret about what wine to drink with his meal for about 5 minutes, while Alex is fine with a cheap beer and a bag of cheetos for “dinner”. They’re goofy
