EXTRAS AND DISCOUNTS

BACKGROUNDS - $15+

Backgrounds containing scenery and objects have a base price of $15 USD based on complexity.

EXTRA CHARACTERS

Base fees only account for one character. For every extra character you'd like to add to your commission, it will cost an extra 50% of the base fee.

COMPLEX FEATURES

Features that require extra detail are subject to a 20% of the base cost per character. This includes (but is not limited to) chainmail, plate armor, scale mail, magitek armor, wings, machinery, firearms, or decorated weaponry. Leather armor and basic, undecorated weaponry are exempt.

THE ARTISTIC LIBERTY DISCOUNT

Do you just want some standard art of your character, and now? Is coming up with commission ideas your mortal enemy? Or are you just in search of a deal? The Artistic Liberty Discount may be for you. In exchange of letting the artist take all the thinking off your hands, you receive a 20% discount off your total commission price. Please note that by taking this discount, you forfeit the right to all progress images, pose requests, prop requests, and revisions (with the only exception being if the body type or skin, hair, or eye color is incorrect.) This discount cannot include extra characters.

TERMS OF SERVICE

DO'S AND DON'TS

The illustrator has a right to decline certain projects or requests, including concepts that he is not equipped for.With zero exception, he will not participate in any project that involves:

- pornographic content
- nudity
- heavy gore
- hate speech or content that may be deemed racially, sexually, religiously, or otherwise politically offensive
- NFTs, cryptocurrency, any implementation of blockchain technology, or promotion of such

Failure to stick to these terms will subject the client to a termination of contract fee.

RIGHTS

The completed illustration's rights are held solely by the commissioner and the illustrator.The commissioner has full rights to the illustration for all personal uses and may not be resold or repurposed by anyone. The illustrator has full rights to display the illustration for any uses, including portfolios and promotional purposes.The illustrator has no rights to distribute the work commercially, and the commissioner may only use the work for commercial purposes if they and the illustrator have a commercial contractual agreement.

PAYMENT

All prices are in USD. Payments will be invoiced and paid via PayPal. You will have the option to either pay all up-front or pay half now, pay half after the approval of the Preliminary Sketch stage. Invoices have a default deadline of 5 days, but you may request for an extension if necessary. Payments are required in full and up-front if the commissioner opts into the Artistic Liberty Discount.

DELIVERY TIME

The average delivery time of commissions is 2-5 business days, however please allow up to 14 business days for the commission to be delivered during high-traffic commission periods. If the commission is not delivered within 30 business days without prior communication, you are entitled to a full refund (unless attempts at communication are made to the commissioner with no response.)

THE COMMISSION PROCESS

Once the payment or deposit is complete, the illustrator will start work ASAP. Every commission will have a Preliminary Sketch stage, in which you will be shown the general composition of the piece. Then depending on the complexity of your commission, the illustrator will continue sharing project progress along the way. All above revisions and sharing of works-in-progress are null and void if the commissioner opts into the Artistic Liberty Discount. Once the commissioner approves of the final product, they are given the full high-resolution file and the commission process is complete.

REVISIONS

Revisions can be made to your desire as long as the revision required is within the current stage. Requesting revisions outside of the current stage, if it can be done, will warrant for an extra charge. For example: you will be charged extra if you request a revision on character posing once the Preliminary Sketch has already passed. Please be mindful when looking at works in progress and don't be afraid to let the illustrator know if something needs changes. All above revisions and sharing of works-in-progress are null and void if the commissioner opts into the Artistic Liberty Discount, unless the illustrator has incorrectly portrayed the subject's vital features such as skin color, eye color, hairstyle, hair color, body type, or body features.

REFUNDS

The latest you can request a full refund is during the Preliminary Sketch stage. Any refunds requested in later stages will only give a percentage of money back depending on how late in the process the commission is. You will not receive any refunds for already finished commissions. Refunds are null and void if the commissioner opts into the Artistic Liberty Discount unless the illustrator has not delivered the commission within 30 business days sans prior negotiation.
