Guidelines
Base prices listed on my price page are a minimum amount, and final cost of your commission depends on the amount of detail or complexity in a character, background, or scene.You may ask for variations of your order once completed, such as: 'without border, transparent background, or flat color version (if shaded)'By default, I send out progress sketches to my commissioners, you may ask to see my current progress at any time after I send the rough sketch. This is to make sure I am as accurate as possible with an order and that my customer is satisfied from beginning to end. If at any time after the sketch stage I show you a WIP and you'd like me to do-over the entire commission, this is considered a large edit and comes with a small fee. Please pay attention to progress pictures I send and make sure you are honest with how you feel about it.— Anything such as complete re-coloring, changing pose or gestures will warrant a large edit fee.— Smaller edits on WIPs or completed commissions I'm willing to approve of include: details I may have missed or that you forgot to originally mention in your original order (small accessories, simple marking, scars or color).When your order is finished, I will send you the high-resolution image with a small, out-of-the-way signature.If you order a sketch, lineart, or even flat color commission from me, and plan to have someone or yourself finish it (either beforehand or after completion), please first get explicit permission from me.If you would like to re-post or edit your commission in any way, please confirm this with me.
When sharing my work, you MUST show proper credit to me as the original artist. Please make sure to publicly show the watermarked version of your order (finished work comes with a subtle watermark you may not remove).
It is preferable that you refer to me anywhere in your post, either through username or link.
Payment
I only accept Paypal payments, and I only take USD. If you do not have a way of transitioning your currency, let me know and we can work something out. My order form requires you to include your Paypal email for commission payment via invoice.Payment is up front (unless stated otherwise), and I allow partial payment over time, but I will not begin your commission until I receive the full payment.
Refunds
You may cancel your commission at any time. Depending on how much progress I have made on your order, you may get a full or partial refund.This doesn’t change whether the refund is important or a financial emergency comes up, but I am always willing to negotiate. All you have to do is be open to discussing the matter.If I am 100% finished with your sketch and have moved on to lineart/coloring/etc, refunds no longer apply, and this rule is non-negotiable. As the guidelines state, small edits are free and can be made if details were forgotten or needed. However, larger edits at this point will either cost more or are liable to be rejected.
Ordering Process
When you contact me with interest in commissioning me for my services, I will run you through a few basic steps. However, here is a general rundown of the procedure:1) You contact me about the type of commission you want2) I will send you a commission form to complete3) You fill out the information blanks and send it back to me
- please provide as many visual resources as you can, along with summarized character personality/info4) I will let you know your total estimate and, once approved by you, ask for your Paypal email to send an invoice to5) You send a confirmation message letting me know you have paid the invoice6) I make sure your payment went through and add your order to my queue
> Once I begin progress on your order, I will send you a WIP or rough sketch for your feedback, to make sure you are getting what you want> I may ask you a few questions between messages to make sure I understand what you want and to know it’s within my abilities
Artist Rights
I have the right to take away commissioner privileges if they abuse them.I may refuse, cancel, or refund your commission at any point I feel is necessary for myself. If this ever happens after you have paid but before I have begun your commission, then I will issue a full refund.Unless it is a private commission, I can and may incorporate your commission into self-promoting work such as examples for future commissioners. Proper credit for the character or concept ownership will be present.If an order is cancelled and refunded in full, the commissioner loses all rights to that work. I may re-use any progress I have made.As a commissioner, you cannot re-distribute any work I have made for you unless I specifically grant you permission. Should you want to use your commission commercially / for profit, we will discuss forming a contract agreement.Feel free to reach out and ask about progress on your order. IfMy work is forbidden from being used for NFTs or AI training
My work days & Communication
Monday-Friday
- I do not work on weekends (Saturday and Sunday), but I often work most actively from evening to midnight and even till morning. I am also easy to contact during those hours.
(Eastern Standard Time zone).- PMs and Direct Messaging are easier for me to keep up with than emails, so you can reach me via social media. Please do not send me an email hoping to get my attention right away.- Any commissioner I reach out to that does not respond within two weeks (without posting information of the reason) will be refunded accordingly, and their order removed from my queue.- Delays are possible with commissions. I am one person, and art is not my full-time job, but if I know of a prolonged schedule change, I notify commissioners.
