there is a group of people in the world who have almost starved to death and there is a group of people who haven’t (yet). as a member of the former group, I think the genocide of palestine hits different for us.

I cannot overemphasize how literally no other experience is like starvation. none. it is all-consuming & yet ungraspable. it is a permanent trauma on the bodymind, even if the starving subject is supported and materially safe otherwise. I lack the language or imagination to talk about what Palestinians are enduring.

Our internet access provider, the guy that simply hosts aljazeera.net is also in danger of being fined if they host the website. The Al Jazeera TV channel is completely banned. Transmission by any kind of content provider is also banned. And holding offices or operating them in the territory by the channel [is banned].
