Anonymous asked:
What brush/brushes do you use in ibisPaintX?
kuroiyuki96-art answered:
Already answered this question before but I think you’re asking again since there’re new brushes I’m currently using.
For starters, the usual is the “Felt Tip Pen (hard)” for smooth lining and “Genius Pen” for a rough one. Examples below.
As for the new brushes used often they’re mainly the “Hair Gloss 2” brush (to give a painty look) and “outline” to draw any pattern easily (for example the patterns on Perceval’s sword as shown below)
Finally, for the brushes used mainly in giving the new half tone texture look (used in the latest Shadow redraw and Metal one) I utilized this set found on Pinterest. Use the import QR code in Ibis paint to be able to use them ^^
And that’s mostly it! Will continue to experiment and try more new stuff so maybe this would change later. Remember to use what you’re most comfortable with and sometime let the drawings shape themselves; some brushes work well on certain drawings so try new stuff and learn as you go!
Hope this was somehow helpful! If you read so far, thank you so much 💕
