Doing some Metal Embossing! Mixed Media is my favorite way to expand horizons

Some charcoal work from my drawing class! Starting out strong 💪
I’m not too good with charcoal but I love practicing new things like this.

as an independent artist, you can’t truly reach your full commission yield potential until you sell out to furries

legit artist advice, particularly to artists who don’t get enough commissions? learn to draw both human and animal anatomy. be willing to draw for paying furry customers. it doesn’t have to be your favorite, you don’t have to personally involve yourself in the fandom, and it certainly doesn’t have to be adult-oriented work – but furries are some of the most supportive and easy to work with commissioners out there. it sounds silly on the surface, but it’s worth it. sell out to furries. use your furry money to kickstart your dreams or buy yourself a sandwich or something

Goin’ Fast

Decided on some personal are of a Tracer themed Primal Pony, featuring some close-ups of the details. I decided to try a new shading style. I think I’ll stick with it for a bit!

Who is OuijaArts?

Well,

To answer this question simply, my name is Percy, I’m 18 years old, and I’ve been attending art school since 8th grade. My current job is being a freelance artist. This is where my primary source of income comes from, but my art is much more than that to me. For as long as I can remember art has served as the most influential thing in my life.

Terms of Service

✞ Ouija’s TOS ✞

═════════════════════════════════

By commissioning me, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. In addition, when using my particular services, you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services, which may be posted and modified from time to time. All such guidelines or rules are hereby incorporated by reference into the TOS.

[1] Payment Terms ✧

All payment is to paid in full before the start of your commission. I will not begin on said commission until I receive the agreed upon payment. Payment is to be sent via PayPal (USD) unless otherwise stated. The displayed base prices are subject to change according to the complexity, difficulty, size and medium of each individual piece, a quote will be given upon each commission inquiry.

[2] Commission Etiquette ✧

All commission inquires must be formatted in a clear and easy to understand manner. It is required that the client uses the form given when planning to order their final piece. This is also applicable when asking for a specific quote to ensure the most accurate estimation. The client must also provide a clear and accurate reference for the subject matter they wish to commission artwork of. Detailed character descriptions are also accepted(see 3).

[3] References ✧

At least one detailed and accurate reference must be provided when placing the client’s commission. If a specific detail is not provided on the character’s reference the artist will use their best judgement to accurately represent said detail. If the client is providing a written description the artist will do their best to bring said character to life. Written descriptions must be as detailed as possible to avoid miscommunication between the artist and the client.

[4] Revisions ✧

Unless otherwise requested the artist will not provide sketch(s) before completing the work. If the client would like to see the sketch before the linework stage the client must state so when submitting their order.  In the sketch stage, the client may ask for any revisions. After this stage minor revisions may be requested (i.e. color change, missing item, ect). If the client is dissatisfied and requires a major change to the finished piece (i.e. pose, expression, ect) an additional charge will be required.

[5] Copyright ✧

The Artist retains the right to display all commissioned work on any personal website, gallery, blog, or journal. If the commissioned work is a time-sensitive gift the Artist may delay public showcase at the request of the Client. Upon received the commissioned work the client may not revise or alter the work in any way. This includes but is not limited to; watermarks, filters, and drawing over the work. The Artist retains ALL the rights to the commissioned artwork, including the right to make prints and merchandise. Rights can be negotiated for an added fee. The Client may not make prints of the artwork, excepting single prints for personal use and display not to be resold or used commercially. The Client may not profit from the artwork. The Client may resize or crop the artwork to create icons, wallpapers, or other graphics to be used in non-commercial digital format, but the Client cannot alter the artwork itself. The Client may also upload the artwork to their personal website or gallery, but credit is required, and it must not be any high resolution of the artwork.

[6] Deadlines ✧

While a rough estimate will be given as to the timeframe in which a work will be completed, deadlines will never be indicated to a set date. Commission work can take anywhere from one(1) week to five(5) months based on varying factors. The client is free to check in and ask about the progress of their work at any given time. The artist will answer said update within three(3) days of the message being sent. Clients are encouraged to check in when they feel it’s necessary for updates, assurance or reminders. However, constant pestering such as repeated messaging before the 3 days and/or ill speak to the artist will result in the client’s commission being pushed back.

[7] Refunds✧

By commissioning the artist you are committing to your purchase and the agreed upon payment. If the artist is UNABLE to complete your work within the 3 month(60 day) wait period a refund will be issued. In cases in which the sketch stage has already been completed, a partial (50%) refund will be given. Refunds will be sent by the artist via PayPal. Chargebacks initiated by the client through PayPal are not allowed under any circumstances and will result in the client being placed on the artist’s permanent ban list.

═════════════════════════════════

The Client must read, understand and agree to all the above terms before entering into an agreement with the Artist. By sending payment, the Client agrees to the above terms.
