Commissions!

Commissions are currently SOFT CLOSED

You can ask, but I will probably decline. I still offer estimates at any time, and can point you to lots of amazing artists who are open!

Email me at pythosart@gmail.com if you have any questions or would like a price estimate!

COMMISSIONS POLICY - PLEASE READ

1. Refunds: If you need to cancel for any reason, and I have not gotten past the initial sketch phase, I will happily offer you a full refund. Beyond the sketch phase, I will still offer partial refunds, but it may be less depending on the level of completion. This is up to my discretion.

  • I reserve the right to refuse or cancel a commission for any reason. If payment is already made, it will be refunded.

2. Deadline: I always try to complete commissions within 30 days or less. If I can’t, for whatever reason, I will let you know and offer a full or partial refund. In general, I try to only take commissions I know I can complete in the next week or so, but stuff happens.

  • If you need the piece by a certain deadline, you must let me know, and be prepared to pay extra if it’s very soon (less than a month away)

3. Queue: I do not generally keep a queue or waitlist between commission rounds. This is both to offer others a chance to get in rather than keep a waitlist going forever, and because my prices can and do fluctuate.

  • If you had previously signed up for a commission last round and I didn’t get to you, feel free to let me know you’re still interested, and I will happily move you up the queue. I will not do this passively, however.

4: Pricing, etc: Pricing and the types of commissions I offer are subject to change. My prices being a certain amount in the past does not mean they still will be.

  • If I’m not offering a certain type of commission any more, you are welcome to ask, but the answer will probably be no.
  • I may add extra charges for things like complicated design, licensing, tight deadline, extra revisions, etc.

5. Image rights:

  • You can post the image wherever you like, as long as you include credit in the form of an @ or a link to one of my sites.
  • You may NOT use the image for NFT or other garbage. The image is for personal use only.
  • You may NOT use the image for resale or other commercial purposes, unless that is part of our initial agreement. Please discuss licensing with me beforehand for projects to be distributed.
  • You may use the image for headers, icons, stickers and prints for personal use, etc. If you intend to print the image for yourself, let me know and I’d be happy to color balance it for a better print.
  • If you’re not sure if you can use your commission a certain way, please ask!

6. Revisions: I am willing to do tweaks and revisions if you aren’t 100% happy with the final product! I’d prefer you are happy with what you get.

  • That said, excessively numerous or large revisions will cost you more. I make an effort to keep the commissioner up to date as I work, so any major issues should be easy to catch while they’re still simple to fix.

7. Posting: I do not post every commission I do, but I will always ask if it’s okay before I post or use one for examples. If I don’t post yours, you are always welcome to post it and I will probably reblog/tweet
