I like to think Johnstantine had a massive crush on Ray Monde when he was young, and is embarrassed about it once he got older. Ray keeps gently turning young Constantine down but still takes care of him on the occasional times Constantine's homeless.

This probably isn't a popular hc but a friend of mine who I'm calling a Constantine Scholar had a similar hc so it counts now!!

  • survivor!charlotte is still conjoined to victor, and the two of them grew up in an orphanage in marseille after their mother died in a house fire. very few people ever considered adopting the pair, and both of them were eventually sent to live on their own the moment that the orphanage was no longer legally required to continue caring for them. charlotte worked a lot of odd jobs and struggled to find work due to her condition. the deshayes twins were very poor, but charlotte thoroughly believed they could find their way in the world regardless of all the obstacles standing in their way (they were taken by the entity in 1986)
  • survivor!max has pretty much the same exact backstory as his killer counterpart, except he was taken from his parents by cps when he was 12 and grew up in foster care (he was taken by the entity in 1984)
  • max and charlotte have had difficulty fitting in due to their disabilities and thus have something to bond over in the fog. charlotte tends to be very reclusive, so she actually becomes friends with max through victor, who happens to be the more outgoing of the two
  • charlotte and victor are focused more on their self preservation while max is more altruistic
  • charlotte had a hard time trusting the other survivors, but she came to trust max very quickly due to their similarities and also because she'll pretty much trust anyone as long as victor does
  • both max and charlotte are selectively mute and have learned to communicate through sign language. victor has picked up on it as well but his attention span is too short to keep up with learning it
  • their teamwork is impeccable during trials. max excels at repairing generators quickly and efficiently and although charlotte prefers to stay hidden, she has no problem distracting the killer if need be
  • max has been in the fog for a very long time. he had even lost hope for a while and had genuinely started to believe that escaping would never be possible, but charlotte's arrival reignited that hope within him. he never wants her to suffer for as long as he did, and made a promise that he would get her out no matter the cost. she's become his biggest motivation for escaping
