Baby is one of my favorite team mates on the crew because she is so unhinged in how she carries herself and how merciless she is in battle.

She tries to keep the magical girl persona up but she is very not good at smiling so she always has a crooked grin and she doesn’t know how to entirely stand like a normal person so she tends to have the same posture as someone about to challenge you to collect 8 pages in the woods.

She does her best but she def got that cryptid energy.

Dear is nonbinary with a masc lean so while he is chill with a they/them, he greatly prefers he/him and being called variations of boy, man, guy, dude, etc. It gives him a big validation boost.

I thought it’d be fun to put a little bit my own flavor of enby in my magical girl team, which is why I tend to refer to the Beloveds as a “Magical Team” instead of a “Magical Girl Team” since Dear doesn’t identify as a girl.

Originally he was going to be the token tomboy of the team but I thought it’d be funny to have the token tomboy grow up and realize “Oh wait I’m not actually a girl in the first place”.

I don’t really.

I just give them designs I think are cool…but that’s just how I design all my OCs tbh.

I also try to make their designs not kill my hand since I am a comic focused artist and details are the devil to me.
