“Salmonlings” are an oddity that have popped up in Salmonid territory! What’s more is some very strange ones have even been appearing in Inkopolis Square… But they’re almost never seen for Salmon Run shifts, so Grizzco workers rarely ever see them around! How curious… Are they relatively new?
Salmonids never seemed to change all that much! Perhaps their lifestyles have lead them to remain relatively the same for the past 2,000 or so years. Or perhaps they simply see no need! Even still, as they grow more active on land, they’re bound to adapt further eventually.
(( As a side note, you do not have to, but if you wish to adopt these headcanons and make your own Salmonlings based off of these, please feel free! No credit is really required since at this point of time, the theoretical Salmonling can be just about anything. ))
