I feel like if you are taking commissions for art of any kind, it should be work that you are doing yourself. I know, as an artist, that getting commissions is impossible if no one knows you. But if someone is paying you for your time, and it’s a pretty high amount, you should at least put your soul into it. Please. If you are commissioned to make art, draw it with all you’ve got.
You have a style. It is your own, unique, and not something you should let a machine copy terribly. Be it writing, coding, drawing, sewing, knitting, performing,etc…
Do what you can.
And do it in style.
You are the soul of your art.
Etaina
In the distant past, Etaina was the oldest of the original Key Trio. She represented the purple key which stood for power and could grant untold strength to those who wielded it. Etaina was not the friendliest of her siblings, and was always jealous of the attention her sister and brother was getting when they were out plowing the fields. She wanted more power! What she had, even as an Alicorn, was just not enough.
One day she went into the village that her and her siblings protected and snuck into the room where they had kept a beast sealed for as long as the villagers remembered. She bargained with the beast; If they gave her more power she would free them from their imprisonment. The beast accepted her offer, but the power was more than she could handle and she was transformed into a draconequus and losing her link to the key she had stood for. No longer was she the Alicorn of power. She had betrayed the village.
Her remaining siblings could not face off against the beast as easily as they once did now that their oldest sister had joined forces with it. The battle was a losing one. When the dust settled, the village was in ruin and the key trio had disappeared while the beast had escaped and went into hiding.
In time, however, the key trio would return. But no longer in their original forms. Or their original names. And now with someone new for them to protect.
Hey so while looking around, I’ve spotted another ‘pixel artist’ on here who’s taking commissions but is just using AI generated art. Please don’t harass them.
The user is “agronian”. Don’t harass them.
Also likely the same process for any adopts.
If you want art of your ocs, don’t commission them. Whatever you’ll get is just AI-generated to some extent possibly. Commission an actual artist. Who will draw your oc. Don’t pay someone to use AI for your original design that was made by a human being.
Just a heads up for anyone who has seen commissions offered by the user. Do not commission unless you are fine with your commission being made using AI ‘help’.
Not making this post for anyone to bother them, I just want to provide clarification that the art being posted is AI and the commissions are AI too.
