Thousands of years ago, living beings evolved to survive the chaos. With the strength of an animal and the intelligence of a human, mystical beasts were born. They raised from the core of the earth, claiming lands, seas, and skies. They were strong, they were smart, and they were all the same, with the same will to live. You could say they would live together like a family. But that could never happen. Their feral nature combined with great intellect only brought the worst out of them. The desire not only to survive but to bring down others. No matter who they were, no matter if they were the same, nobody could find peace. The world was in great conflict. There was no order, no rules, and no goodness. The only rule was to kill or be killed.

Years were passing as the world never changed. How could we make the world better? Some beasts were thinking, trying to never kill, but it was no use when the new chaos was arising. There was no trust in anyone, the wars were unstoppable, and nobody could understand each other anymore. Until the day one special beast met another beast. They both looked the same. They both thought the same. They understood each other. They were a real family. It was the first case when beasts worked together. Not to kill but to survive. They've made a pact to always be together to defeat all the danger, which they always succeed. Soon, they found more alike beasts who saw a light of hope in their life. But they only accepted the ones that looked the same, as they couldn't understand the others. They created a family of dog-like beasts. They created the first Clan in the beast world.

With rising power as a unity, more danger araised for the Clan as well. Other beasts stood together against them. Developing more intellect, the leaders of the Clans decided to create weapons for their members. Stone, metal, and other materials were used for deadly creations, however, the rule stated they could be used only to protect each other. Whoever used the weapon for their own pleasure would be banished from the Clan. Soon the Clan's beasts learned to fight and control their own powers.

However, it seemed like the other beasts tried to imitate them. Even if they couldn't create the same perfect crafts, they started using anything they would find in the environment as a weapon. The Clan's weapons sometimes could come unhandy and the beasts would be too late to respond to a surprise attack. The leaders thought of a way to let their members feel stronger and more comfortable with being able to always have their weapons with them. They used leather and other materials to create belts and harnesses which would help them keep their weapons close and quickly use them when needed. This was also distinguishing them from other beasts from far away and helped avoid unnecessary conflicts.

With more passing time, it looked like the Clan was taking the lead in the world. More beasts wanted to join them to find safety, but still only the most similar beast would be taken home with them. They created a big family, filled with freedom. However, one day changed them forever. No matter how much they developed their humanity, their beast nature was still there. Hidden for so many years, hunger finally raised in one of the leaders. They lost control and attacked the other leader, the first beast that they trusted in, and the first beast that trusted in them. The leader killed them with their own fangs. There was only one leader left. Realizing what they have done, the leader wanted to leave this world as well. But they couldn't because they promised each other to make this world better. Instead, they tried to do everything to avoid something like that from happening to anyone again. The leader created a muzzle to keep on their mouth to restrict themselves from hurting anyone. Later, every Clan beast had to wear that no matter what. They all wanted to still be a family, but no one would be trusted ever again.

The world of the beasts has changed. Not many remember or even heard about the old days. Nowadays a lot of beasts can see nothing but income, the others aspects aren't that important. However, there are still many that are taken under the Clan roofs only to survive. The thing that didn't change is them being a big family, even if some don't like it at all. The beasts are all working together to rule this world, which is much easier to live in. The world now is a place to enjoy living. There's no need to fight and it's easy to communicate. All the Clans, though separated, can be called unity. Conflicts still happen, but when there is no conflict in a family, it can't be called a family.

The beasts learned much more, developing their powers and finding their own goal in their life. No one stands against them, but there are still rules to follow. They should work for good of the Clans and others. Standing against it won't be tolerated, beasts should never betray each other.

The beasts to this day still use traits that were used to create the Clans. The harnesses, once being a matter of survival, nowadays is mostly an item of fashion and recognition. However, the muzzles, which may seem unnecessary today, still keep a big value for some. For unaware beasts, it's just a tradition and another fashionable piece of cloth, but for others, it's an important symbol. Because in this world, no matter how much you know someone, you should never trust them.

[MAD DOGS]

The first Clan ever created in the world. The two canine beasts have made a pact to protect themselves and others and help them survive the new chaos. They were the pioneers of every trait and rule of the beast Clans, however, they weren't the ones to create the Clan name. The idea of cooperating together like a family was despised for a long time by other beasts. They couldn't understand any motives and emotions of the dog-like beings. They called them crazy, they called them insane, they called them mad. Thus they became known as MAD DOGS.

[COPY CATS]

The second Clan created in the world. As its name suggests, the Clan was copied from the pioneers' group. A few of feline beasts wished to join MAD DOGS, but they were refused due to their differences. Even if cat-like and dog-like beasts seemed to be the closest in similarities among everyone, none would ever trust any cat-like creature. They were infamous for their egoism, they would betray even their own species and couldn't ever work in groups, unlike canine beasts. So the felines decided to change it and make their own Clan, gathering all cat-like beasts together. Even if they managed to form a big family, the leadership of the Clan wasn't so great as MAD DOGS'. The felines were lazy, simply stealing any idea from the canines. They didn't need their own rules and inventions, they only needed a name that keeps them together to show others their significant pact. They named themselves COPY CATS to show off their vicious skills stolen from others.

[SLY RATS]

Another Clan formed after the growing power of the beasts' families. Small, petite, and seemingly weak, some beasts didn't want to stay forever hidden in the shadows, finally forming an alliance as well. Although they were mostly treated as prey by others, their special pair of teeth weren't so harmless. Once gathered together, the rodent-like beasts showed their true strength. They grew way quicker in amount than the previous Clans, being able to overtake a few greater areas. However, they still wouldn't take the top of the world. Despite their abilities, they preferred to lay low only to stay safe. After gaining as much as required, they ceased any conflicts and pretended they want to create a peaceful world. But some beasts knew they still shouldn't be trusted and, in fact, they just wait for a good occasion to raise again. That's why they became known as SLY RATS.

[WILD HOOVES]

Another group of beasts was pushed away from others. They seemed to be most outcasted out of every land beast because of their difference. Their limbs were different from others, instead of paws or claws they had hooves so they could never fit into any groups. Finally, they decided to make their own Clan which quickly grew and became different than other Clans. They allowed in way bigger variety than previous Clans. Every beast of any kind of body could join, as long as they had any kind of hooves. From the beginning they didn't really care about bringing others down, they focused more on their own success without looking at others. They were the only Clan that decided to split in two due to so many kinds of beasts coming with various abilities. They repeated the history of two pioneers, however unlike them, they succeeded to keep the position of two bosses to this day. With that, their ways remained different, creating more own rules. They felt like they didn't belong to all the Clans' circle, they were free and wild, so they were called WILD HOOVES.

[ABYSSAL FINS]

A strange group of beasts began to appear. They didn't resemble any beast known on the land. They possessed traits no one has seen before, like fins, scales, and gills. They came straight from the water depths to learn about the world above them. Although they seemed friendly to the land beasts, no one could really trust them and nobody would accept them in their Clan. Thus, the creatures came back to the water, creating their own Clan there. They grew really fast, which was visible when they were visiting the land from time to time. Their community looked greater than any other beasts so far, counting way more variety. Still, nobody knew how it really looked in the depths, which made other beasts even fear the creatures from the abyss. And so they were called ABYSSAL FINS.
