Welcome to the port city of Ethovalon!
Ethovalon lay to the westernmost region of the sea and, due to cut off communications with the rest of the world, trade had slowed down and resources dwindled. Because of this, two residents by the name of Wynton and Wyndam proposed an idea... to start an expedition across the sea and rekindle communications with outside islands and nations! Trade could begin again, and a complete map of the sea could be underway!
With the entire port city in agreement, three branches were formed; Wayfarers, Bounty Hunters, and Rescuers - all under the newly founded Global Communication Setup Foundation, or GCSF for short! News spread fast and those who still sailed the seas with outdated maps made their way to Kala Island to join the foundation! With everything under way, it was time to rekindle with the rest of the world and see how it had changed over the years!

PMD: Beyond the Sea is a steampunk/fantasy themed ARPG group based around the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games. But there's a twist! Outside of dungeons, characters are gijinkas, or humans, and inside of dungeons, characters are feral Pokemon! Together with other members you can roleplay, collaborate, explore dungeons, participate in seasonal and story events, and recruit Pokemon to create your perfect team!
Teams work under the watchful eye of Global Communication Setup Foundation (GCSF), a guild dedicated to the creation of an up-to-date map of the world.
You can choose to join one of three branches: the Bounty Hunters, Rescuers, or Wayfarers. Missions and tasks will be provided monthly for teams to work with!
Bounty Hunters
"Don't shirk work!
Run away and pay!"
Despite the name, Bounty Hunters with the GSCF are not sketchy mission goers - in fact, it's quite the opposite! They're more or less the law of the seas, helping to keep people safe! If there's a dangerous criminal lurking about a city, crawling around a dungeon, or boarding a ship, it's their job to handle it! This branch is led by Captain Evil-Eye, ex-leader of Team Ghost Maiden!

Rescuers
"Strength is not the size of your body,
but the size of your heart!"
Ah, the Rescuers! Where would we be without you? It's their job to go into dungeons and rescue anybody that may need help! Whether that's escorting someone out of a dungeon, reviving them inside, or escaping and bringing them to the nurse's station, the Rescuers job may be simple compared to the other branches but it's definitely an important one. The Rescuers branch is led by Stein!

Wayfarers
"We sail the length of the seas
on the ocean breeze!"
The Wayfarers sail out to sea and discover islands! Once islands are found, their job is to delve into dungeons and explore their unknown depths. Whether they get to the very end and find amazing treasure, or somewhat secure the dungeon for everyone else, that's the job of the Wayfarers! Sailing and exploring! This branch is led by brothers Wynton and Wyndam, founders of the GSCF!
