Basic TOS

Client must initiate commission request.I accept payments via PayPal only.Delivery time is estimated to be NO LONGER than a month, unless otherwise specified.Commissions must be paid 50% UPFRONT and 50% ON DELIVERY. Do not send payment until I have confirmed that I will be following through with your commission.Refunds may not be requested. Cancellations may be requested if I have not finished significant progress (i.e., finished lineart / color). This means work on the commission will stop and you will not have to deliver upon the last 50%.If I am unable to complete your commission for any dire reason, I may initiate a refund.NSFW commissions / Nude commissions will only be granted to clients that guarantee they are 18 at the time of commissioning / receiving commission.Commissioner MAY reupload the commissions piece with either a mention (@starhuntersolar) or a link back to my Carrd.I also reserve the right to turn down any commission I do not feel comfortable completing.

By purchasing my service as an artist, you agree to the following terms:

Section I: Copyright

1. The artist (@starhuntersolar) retains full and exclusive rights to the original artwork. The client may not claim it as their own or use it for anything other than personal use.2. All commissioned artwork is for noncommercial purpose only. Redistribution of my artwork for use in printed merchandise or as promotion of goods, services or social media pages is prohibited. If you have any questions about this, ask me before commissioning me.Conditions for Reposting
3. The client has my permission to repost the artwork wherever they would like, as long as proper credit is given (an @ mention, my discord tag, or a link back to my carrd) and my watermark/signature remains intact and unaltered.Prohibited Actions
4. Altering my artwork in any way without asking for permission before hand, with the exception of cropping/resizing the image for an icon or other use.5. Use my artwork as references for your own, specifically tracing or re-purposing parts of the image.6. Claiming the artwork as your own.If these terms are broken, you will be privately blacklisted from commissioning me and reported.
I also DO NOT and WILL NOT work with anyone who peddles or uses NFTs or AI generation, wants to use my work AS an NFT or in AI, etc.

Section II: Payment Information

1. I accept payment in USD. All USD payments will be taken via Paypal only. Any other form of payment will, more likely than not, be denied.2. Your commission will not be started until payment is received upfront in order to avoid art theft. This payment must be given within a week of the payment quote being given, or else the commission will be cancelled.3. You are allowed to request a CANCELLATION up until the sketch has been approved OR, in rare occasions, the lineart.4. If a full CANCELLATION is requested at the sketch portion of the process, the client will be prohibited to any rights to the sketch, and the sketch will likely be scrapped.5. It is the client’s responsibility to alert me when the payment has been sent. Sometimes a payment will not fall through and I won't know about it. If you fail to tell me that you've sent the payment within the week - and I know I absolutely haven't received the payment - then the week long deadline applies to you, and your commission will be cancelled if payment is not received.6. Refund Policy:
• The original 50% downpayment is nonrefundable. However, if the commission is cancelled (by myself or the client) before the art has advanced beyond the sketch, then the client will be relieved of paying the 50% delivery.
• No cancellations will be accepted for completed or nearly completed commissions. The 50% delivery will be expected, and if not given after a week, the commission will be trashed and you will be blacklisted from commissions.
• The artist reserves the right to cancel a commission at anytime, for any reason, and without explanation. You will be excused (or rarely, refunded) accordingly in these circumstances.
• If I cancel the commission due to my inability to complete it at any state, a full REFUND will be given.

Section III: Contact and Communication

1. Discussion of commissions can be conducted via Toyhou.se (@starhuntersolar), Instagram DMs (@starhuntersolar) or via Discord (@starhuntersolar). I may offer to email or otherwise message you the final product, due to the quality restrictions.2. Visual Reference Guidelines:
• Client must provide at least one clear and concise visual reference; please supplement the visual reference with any important information I may need to know to correctly draw the character.
• If you link to a gallery of your character’s artwork, I cannot promise your design will be done with 100% accuracy. Design interpretations may be inconsistent between images and lessen my ability to accurately draw your character. Shading on potential pieces will also play a part in this.

Section IV: Will / Won't Draw

Below is a general guideline for what I will or will not draw. Please keep my art style in mind when ordering; my forte is human / humanoid characters. Things outside my comfort zone might not be as high quality as something I am used to doing. Similarly, I also will not change my art style for specific wants (i.e., anime characters will be drawn in my own personal style; I do not match other artists' styles.)

¹ I absolutely love certain media! Feel free to look at my interests tab to figure out things that I might be interested in drawing for. HOWEVER, there are things I will not be interested in drawing, like most western adult cartoons / [AS] shows, or some anime (no hate, just not that interested in drawing). Still feel free to ask, as I might be willing to make exceptions!² I still need loads of practice when it comes to drawing fursonas of any kind! I would still be willing to take on commissions, but please be patient with me as I attempt to learn more and more.³ A friendly reminder, I will not allow anyone under 18 to purchase an NSFW commission. As for where I will POST NSFW artwork, currently they'd likely end up on my Patreon and a portfolio.

Section V: Workflow Process

1. I work best when given some artistic freedom to create an image based on the characters you provide. I am happy to match a scene or pose that you have in mind, but please allow and expect some variation.
2. If there are any delays in completion of a commission, I will personally notify the customer.
• Completion of most commissions are generally estimated to take no more than roughly 1 month, but likely much quicker. If for any reason I cannot complete a commission within 45 days of ordering, I will issue a full refund.3. Works in Progress (WIPS). Sketch, lineart, and (sometimes) flat colors are all given WIP updates. I will send any wips to the commissioner wherever the contact was established. Progress will be paused until the WIPs are confirmed.4. Any major changes or revisions must be made at sketch stage; this includes any significant changes to a character’s pose or body shape, or redrawing parts of the image.
• After the sketch has been approved, no major edits or changes will be made. Minor edits may be accepted during the line art phase (i.e., fixing line errors or slight hair placements, etc.). Color is able to be discussed if a color update is sent.
• If I, the artist, make any errors in the character design, accessories, or any other visual elements specified in the provided visual references, I will make these edits at no additional cost.5. If you do not want me to post your commission online, you must tell me when you order.
