They’re called void shadows! :D

Here’s a crash course on them:

• Come from void-matter. What’s void matter, you ask? We’ll get to it :3
• Takes on the form of any Pokemon its consumed. But it’s not a perfect transformation; they don’t speak, they have red eyes, and their have black-purple aura. They also lack the type of that Pokemon.
• The bigger the void shadow, the stronger it is.
• Can be found anywhere there’s void-matter, and void-matter is currently spreading.
• Their true form is a black mass with glowing white eyes. The shape of this form can vary.
• They’re said to be what remains of a Pokemon that’s had their heart eaten away… basically shadow Pokemon, but they’re goopy abominations that shapeshift.

You have to reimagine Pikavee showing up for the first time in town and it’s all Lief.

Replace their designs with Lief and keep their character the same.

Pikavee: “I’m beginning to notice w-we all…”

Lief: “Look alike? It’s not that weird, Missy. It’s just how things are on the Isle.”

Pikavee: “I-I know, but… Why do I feel like this isn’t right?”

Livingston: “I’ve been trying to figure it out myself. My current theory is this is one possibility of many.”

Pikavee: o.o

Lief: “What, like a parallel universe?”

Livingston: “I… suppose?”

Lief: “Seriously? I thought you were way smarter than that. Those don’t exist.”

Livingston: “That’s what I thought, but I have reason to suspect it is possible.”

Fenninkou: “So is there a version of this where we don’t look alike?”

Lief: “Kid, not you too… that would be weird. This is normal.”

The above interaction would mostly be the same if it were Pikavee instead. But our ‘vee is the only giant one. ;3

Now the third… :3c

'Pikavee’, waking up and stretching: “Oh geez… I must’ve been really tired. I feel so heavy and sluggish.”

'Lief’, being jolted from sleep by 'Pikavee’s’ movements: “A-AHH! AHHHH” OAO

'Pikavee’: “Whosawhatsit?” o.o;

*long pause as the two stare at each other*

'Lief’: “I-isn’t that-”

'Pikavee’: “Me?” o.o;

*another long pause*

'Pikavee’: “I’m dreaming. I’ve got to be dreaming.”

'Lief’: “F-feels very real to me…” ;~;’

'Pikavee’, burying his face in his paws: “I don’t know what you’ll do, but I think I’ll stay here until it ends…”

'Lief’: “Um. What if we got help-?” ;w;

'Pikavee’: “Nuh-uh. With you looking like me? They’ll tear you apart. Gods, this is embarrassing…”

Oh yes! Lief’s mama is pretty serious about being a mom. :P

In fact, I imagine she’d straight up adopt Lil Pikavee if she ever noticed her alone.

It’s pretty common for feral families to be a hodgepodge of Pokemon that were adopted from who knows where; usually under the assumption that the little one was abandoned!

Whether or not they’re related by blood hardly matters to feral communities. Combined with how these communities are closely knit with each other and often intermingle when things get rough? Expect Pikavee to be considered a part of the family just for being Lief’s friend. :P

Adoption scene is a GO:

Lief’s mama: “Liefa, there you are… you know you can’t keep running off and talking to strangers.”

Lief: “Mama mama! She’s a full-blood! I found a full-blood!” :D

Pikavee, considerably wary as the larger Flareon approaches her: ;~;

Lief: “She doesn’t really talk. But that’s ok. She got to watch me practice flying!” nwn

Lief’s mama: “She was out here by herself?”

Lief: “I didn’t see anyone else…” owo

Pikavee: *just staring up at the Flareon and shaking a little; even more timid whimpers*

Lief’s mama, kneeling to examine Pikavee: “Poor thing’s scared half to death… what could have done this?”

Lief: “Ooh, mama mama! Is she coming home with us?”

Lief’s mama, already picking up Pikavee to carry: “It’s too dangerous for her to be left out here.”

Lief: “Cool! I have a full-blood sister!” :DD

Congrats anon, you created a divergence where Pikavee and Lief are * adopted sibbys * instead of lovers

A divergence that can’t possibly happen or else it risks collapsing the space-time continuu-

And never mind, that was the sound of the timeline splitting again.

Oof. Lief and Cherry.

Lief doesn’t like royalty. Expect that to be a point of contention for a good while. But let’s assume they get past that and Lief is semi-regularly talking to her now.

I’ll be real, I do not trust Lief around Cherry. I fear she’d listen to every little thing he says, especially the bullshit ones XD

And once he catches onto that? Good lord. He’s gonna be able to make fun of her without even trying.

My verdict is, it’d be funny to watch, but I don’t know if they’d be good for each other at all, unless he begins feeling guilty over it like with Pikavee.

I think they’d get on just fine. I easily see the two being very friendly with each other, even at Aevria’s true size.

Pikavee, in loaf mode: *watching Lief closely, not understanding the queue to play* o^o;

Lief: “You’re like me! What do you wanna evolve into? I’m gonna be big and strong like mama!”

My guess? Lief would be the kid destroying anything Sirius makes.

Why? He hates sand. He was also a very spicy child.
