Hello! My name is Tzusi, also known as Tzu.I am an independent digital artist located in New Zealand. I have found a life-long passion for drawing animals and nature, and love breathing life into my characters through illustration and storytelling. I also share a passion for character design and world building, as you will often see plenty of new characters on my page.

Terms of service

By purchasing any of my services, you automatically agree to my terms of service.
Please read through these Terms of Service carefully.
G E N E R A L➻ I will not start your commission until full payment is received, unless a payment plan has been discussed.
➻ I have the right to refuse any work without providing said reason.
➻ Clients will receive a final digital product in full resolution only, as there is no traditional copy being shipped. The final product will be in .png format and will have a canvas size between 2000px and 7000px wide with 300dpi.
➻ Clients will not be provided native files such as .psd, .sai, or procreate files.
P A Y M E N T➻ All payments are in USD through PayPal only. Once your commission/purchase is confirmed, I will send you an invoice.
➻ Full payment must be made within 48 hours of the invoice sent, or your commission slot will be lost.
➻ Payment plans are available for purchases over $120, however you will not receive the final product nor gain any rights to the character/artwork until full payment has been received. You will have a maximum of 2 weeks to complete the payment in full, and the payment plan must be discussed and confirmed prior to confirmation of the service. If any hold or payment plan falls through and payment is not made (given the client doesn't notify me if a situation arises), they will NOT be entitled to another hold or payment plan ever.
➻ Complicated designs or additional accessories or anatomy such as wings, etc. may incur additional fees.
P R O C E S S & E D I T S➻ All commissioned works come with approval stages where multiple sketches/thumbnails or drafts of the artwork are provided for edits and corrections. Once reviewed, I will complete the rest of the artwork. I prefer to remain engaged and interactive with the client, and will often ask for more than one review of the artwork, provided this benefit is not exploited by the client.
➻ Complete overhauls of the drawing such as pose, background, layout, etc. are not available past approving the final sketch.
➻ Once a commission is completed, it cannot be changed/edited. If I am at fault for a mistake, such as an error in the character’s design, I will fix it free of charge.
C H A R A C T E R S, D E S I G N S & A U C T I O N S➻ Designs are for personal use, non-commercial only.
➻ Full payment must be made within 48 hours of purchase, or the character will go back up for sale.
➻ You are allowed to make edits to the design, but not to the artwork its self.
➻ If applicable, let me know if you would like the name of the design changed on the image only prior to the invoice being sent.
➻ Bids are required to be commented in a chain after the first bid. Serious bids only.
➻ You are allowed to resell the design, given that it is sold for no more than what you paid for if no additional artwork has been made.
➻ Holds are for serious purchases only and are available for a max of 5 days. If any hold or payment plan falls through and payment is not made (given the client doesn't notify me if a situation arises), they will NOT be entitled to another hold or payment plan ever.
➻ Characters and designs are non-refundable.By purchasing any character or design, you automatically agree to these terms and the rest of my terms of service.
R E F U N D S➻ Refunds are only available within the first 48 hours of the invoice being paid. After this period, refunds are not offered unless I, as the artist, are unable to complete the commissioned work, or the commission takes more than 4 consecutive months to complete. Under these circumstances, a full refund will be sent within 1-3 weeks.
➻ The only exception being due to inappropriate behavior, where the client will be refunded in full and blacklisted indefinitely.
➻ Chargebacks are not a valid form of a refund. Refunds are issued accordingly. Forcing a refund through a fraudulent chargeback will result in the client being permanently blacklisted, and all rights to the product default back to me as the artist.

➻ You are not allowed to edit, modify, reproduce, distribute or sell my artwork in any way or form.
➻ You are not allowed to edit, modify or remove my signature in any way.
➻ Please ask me for permission prior to reposting any of my work online.
➻ You are allowed to use my artwork as icons, banners, wallpapers, etc. however appropriate credit must be given if my signature is no longer visible.
➻ As the artist, I reserve all rights to the artwork. Therefore I reserve the right to publish the artwork, and to use it for self-promotion unless discussed otherwise.
➻ Clients may request to remain anonymous.
