Legend Faction Leader ~ Diarene Friend

Hi! I'm Aspen, Legend Faction Leader!! I've been a leader for over a year now, and my faction always makes me so proud when we come back from a competition! Win or lose, it's always a fun time! Although, winning is always the best. I do my best to make sure everyone in the Legend Faction is having fun!

FINALLY the snow has started melting in Myth City. It's been rainy lately which has helped wash it away! I'm not a fan of the rainy season, but that just means summer is right around the corner! I love summer, it's always the best time to travel and play on the beach~ I've always been a fan of the beach since I was a kid and I haven't been in ages. Building sandcastles and playing in the waves is so nostalgic to me, I've GOTTA make time this summer to go do that! (* ouo)9
I'm not going to lie and say last month wasn't rough for me, it was. But the start of a new month is the perfect time to leave that in the past and move forward! No more sad Aspen, I'll push forward and make more happy memories!! I'll take Ash with me and we'll have a blast playing and training as we always do. Hey! You know May's going to have a big Faction Event again, right? Legend Faction, you better be practicing your fighting skills! We've got a lot more experience with that this time, don't we? We're gonna place 1st this time for sure! You know, I don't remember the last time I picked up a sword. Anyone wanna practice swordfighting with me?? Ow< You know where to find me if you do!!

Valentine’s Day is today! I hope everyone is celebrating well today! :D Everyone I know has some sort of plans, even the single friends. They told me I should take a spa day or something like that for myself. I’m seriously considering it!! I’m not a spa person, but pampering myself sounds like fun… I was told I should focus on myself instead of trying to find someone else in a rush just to not be alone tonight. Bijou is so wise… Ahh, but I think she’s right. I’ll take some time for myself today!
I’ve actually got plans to meet with my former mentor, Finch. They’re real cool, I seriously admire them. I’ve also got some… stuff… I wanna ask them about. Selene said some stuff last time we hung out that left me seriously thinking, and Finch knows about that situation. They’ll know what to do… hopefully. I’m kinda tired of leaving it to die, but I’m not sure if the… person wants to resolve things. Well, no matter. Just getting to see Finch again will make my day brighter~ I can’t wait to see them!

December's finally over... Thank god, it felt like the month just kept dragging on for me. ( TT~TT) That also means HAPPY NEW YEAR!! May 2024 be better than last year for everyone else who's 2023s weren't so great!! We can work together to make it a better year for all of us!
The year was kinda... yeah, like that for me too. It kinda sucks Legend Faction lost completely during this Faction event, but I think next time we can do a whole lot better! There's always room for improvement, even for the winners! So we can just take this in stride and focus on the future rather than everything else that's happened.
I'm looking forward to all the things I have planned in the New Year! It's exciting! :D OH I KNOW Does anyone wanna come set off some fireworks with me? In a safe location, of course!! I know there's not a lot of safe places in Myth City to do that with how many trees there are... we could take a trip out to the beach over in Fruta instead! I know some people there that can help us out!! Let's do it! :D

The blizzard that came through from the north has cooled things down significantly here in Myth City. I... actually don't really like the cold too much. =_= Not only is it, well... FREEZING... but it brings sad memories with it. Seasonal depression, maybe. It gets way too dark fast and I find myself feeling a bit lonely... ;-; Ahh, but I don't want to get too down for this update!! After all, Gift Wars has started and everyone is full of energy! I'm trying my best to be full of energy too!! Just can't wait for the snow to melt, if it does before spring at all.
I had a lot of fun in Gift Wars in previous years, though I would plan with someone else for them. It was a whole thing, too! We had like, spreadsheets and hit lists, a whole production! One year we were even the highest-scoring participants! That someone else doesn't do faction stuff anymore, though. Ah... uhm. W-well! Good luck, Legend Faction! I'm rooting for everyone! I'll bring a tray of cookies next week to bring up moral!! Yeah!! :D

November is one of my personal favorite months~ All the trees turn beautiful shades of orange and red, and lots of yummy fall recipes start finally getting made! Pumpkin pies are some of my favorite things in the world. Not to mention the Acorn Harvest is finally starting!! That's one of the most fun things to do in the fall. Hmm? Just me? Ah-- well... I just like rummaging through the fall foliage to see what I can find~ Mushrooms are fun to collect too, you know!!
I ought to try my hand at baking, this year! A lot of Vrenes hold special feasts this time of year, so maybe I could hold my own and invite everyone over! I'm a great chef, everyone should be honored I let them eat my food! Yeah, I'll do that this month! Wish me luck!

All of the Vrenes in Vrenes' Keep are getting into the festive spirit! You know exactly what I'm talking about; creepy skeletons, cute ghosts, and pretty witches everywhere! Halloween is such a fun holiday, I can't wait for the end of the month to get here already... I want to wear a fun costume too! :D
Selene wants to do some kind of matching costume with someone, but I already have mine laid out. I spent a long time making it, so I don't really want to pass on wearing it. The lessons from Diamond are finally paying off! I think... He'd get mad if he found out I posted that though lolol xD

Summer is finally ending, and I'm kinda sad about it. I mean, I'm not that much of a fan of the cold. I'm glad we're close to the coast, that keeps us a little warmer for longer in the year, but that's not saying much at all. Winter can be such a sad season where nothing grows or blooms...
Well, if there's any upside to the warmth leaving the weather... I guess it's all the holidays coming up! There's a lot to look forward to, the other Faction Leaders have been talking about the next big Faction Event. :3 I'd get in trouble for saying more, but I can't wait to write about it-- AH SIRIUS IS ABOUT TO WALK IN GOTTA GO BYE--

Lore Faction Leader ~ Meirene Queen

The name's Bijou, Lore Faction Leader! Write about myself, huh? Well, I've been a Faction Leader for a year and a half at this point. Excited to reach that two-year mark! I love the members of my faction, y'all are so cute! If any of you have any problems, or those other factions are giving you a hard time, come find me! I'll give Aspen a talking to-- or I guess any of the other faction leaders.

I've never been a fan of drama or anything like that, but I've been picking up the sense that there's something off over the past month. I mean, yeah. We're kinda in the middle of planning another big event and all, but Aspen hasn't been themself for a little while. Selene's acting weird, and Diamond is hard to get a hold of... more than usual, at least. I don't really want to get involved, but I'm worried about my friends. I wonder if I should at least ask...? Diamond doesn't like people prying into his business, though. Oddly enough, that could have been what happened already. Ahhh, I wish I could read minds! :'( I hate seeing my friends so upset...
It's even springtime now too! That's always the happiest part of the year, where you feel refreshed and start anew. Leave what troubles you in the winter and make something you love in the summer! Let go, and all that. Oh, I know! I'll invite Selene on a small trip and we'll talk as we always do~ Maybe she's just been overworking herself. At the very least, I'll let her know I'm always here! And then maybe I'll do the same for Aspen and then visit Diamond... gahhh I just wanna give them all a hug! Wish me luck, I'll do what I do best~!

Good Morning everyone, and happy Valentine’s! I hope everyone is celebrating fun and safe! I for one have a hot date set up for later tonight~ I’m looking forward to it, though I do keep my expectations low. I met them through a dating app, so this is my first time meeting them face to face. I’ll admit I’m a little nervous, but if it works out, it works out! Meeting someone new is always nerve wrecking~
I know Aspin has trouble with meeting new people. They wanted to try the dating app too, but I told them to relax tonight instead. They seem troubled now-a-days, but if they ever want to talk about it, then I’m here to listen. Aspin is Aspin, they’ll pull through like they always do! Speaking of, I need to make sure they got my present today. I sent them flowers to hopefully cheer them up some more! I sent everyone else candies, I know everyone’s favorites so I made sure to have plenty to go around~ I heard from Sirius earlier today. He’s a little softie, once you get to know him. He’s so sweet! The only person I haven’t heard from is Diamond. I’ll have to make sure to reach out. We don’t talk regularly, but once a Faction Assistant, always family! That’s what I say, anyways. I got him some hot chocolate, I hope he like it. Aspin told me once he loves hot, sweet drinks like that! :)

Happy New Year, Loves! I hope everyone had a fun, and safe, New Years~ The holidays were quite fun for me, personally. I got to see some of my siblings for the first time in ages when we got together for the holidays~ It's been hard to find time to spend with them recently, and seeing them again only makes me sad to realize that.
I think in 2024 I want to work on finding more free time to spend with the people I love. I adore what I do, but I miss my family, and I want to hang out with my friends as well! I hope I get to do that this year.
Oh, and good job Lore Faction! We scored second place in the Gift Wars this year! Second place is nothing to scoff at, so good job! Let's bring this energy and amplify it in the next Faction event to bring home the gold!

We've finally gotten to the end of the year! At long last, Christmas is right around the corner~ I do so love seeing everyone get all festive and excited! Gift Wars? It's fun and all, I just prefer the romance of a warm night cuddled up next to the fireplace with that special someone~ ♥ Though, I'm sure Lore Faction will put up a good fight during the Gift War this year, right? ;)
There's a cafe not far from my town house that starts serving my favorite hot chocolate this time of year. There's always a special going on this time of year too, just makes savoring it all the more sweeter~ They actually sell a lot of nice drinks there. Does anyone else ever go there? The person who runs the place is as sweet as can be, even if they're a little aloof. I definitely recommend it for anyone looking for something refreshing!

It's that time of year, again! Time for our annual Gift Wars competition from the Factions! This one was always one of my favorite competitions, I got to participate in it from both sides of the Faction~ A regular member and a leader. I still remember my first one, not many people gave me gifts but I went all out, myself! I even got some Vrenes on Lore Faction gifts, as well. Now suddenly, I had a target on my back the following years! It would have been easy to be crushed under the pressure. Yet here I am!
Just remember to stay safe during the competition, everyone. It's all for fun~ Be sure to find your respective Faction Leaders if anyone gives you grief about this whole thing!

September felt like it was going on forever. It was actually pretty exciting; I met a lot of new Vrenes from all over! Lots of them joined the Lore Faction, which I'm forever grateful for! Y'all really know how to make a girl feel loved. However, that also means the other factions ended up with more members too. Let's keep up our momentum, Lore Faction! We'll out-pace them, no doubt!
Oh yeah, I guess Halloween is right around the corner. A lot of Vrenes are getting restless waiting for the holiday, I've seen plenty start dressing up already whenever they come in! I think it's cute, y'all are so creative with those costumes of yours. I was wondering what I should wear this year, any suggestions? Hmm... maybe I'll ask some of the other leaders what their plans are this year for ideas.

When Selene came to me and said, "Let's write a blog!", I wasn't sure what to think. I mean, aside from, "Cute!" She's like a puppy whenever she gets an idea she really likes, sometimes. Still, I've never done something like this. I'm not quite sure what to write?
Well, I guess it's good news that Lore Faction has been gaining some new members, recently. I heard from Sirius that a migration of Vrenes has been happening lately. It's actually been fun getting to meet a lot of new faces from all over! Our faction is as strong as ever, so let's keep up the good spirits, y'all!

Fable Faction Leader ~ Phirene Cutie Pie

I'm Selene, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintence! Most of my time is dedicated to my favorite hobbies, like music, art, magic... ah, I guess running Fable Faction is also up there. I end up having to spend a lot of time doing faction things like running and organizing events... aaahh when can we combine them with fun stuff like music? The other faction leaders get pretty serious about this stuff, but we should all just relax and enjoy the ride, you know??

Aspen has been so sad last month and Diamond won't respond to me!! I really wasn't trying to do this... I just thought-- OH Diamond sent me a message!! He... just sent me his blog entry for this month. (TT~TT) How do I fix this...? I don't wanna ask Sirius, he'd just sigh and tell me I'm being dumb. And maybe I am!! But I hate it when my friends are fighting. I just want everyone to get along...
Well, this month is going to be the month I clean this mess up! I don't care what it takes!! Yeah, I'll fix everything and then everyone can be happy for summer! I need to think of the PERFECT plan though, I can't just rush in like I did before. Ahh Sirius is so good at planning stuff like this, but there's gotta be someone else who can help out! Anyone but him!

Waaaaah… I think I may have messed up! Valentine’s Day is supposed to be for bringing love and friendships together, some matchmaker I am. TT~TT
Ok ok so like, Aspin and Diamond have had this thing going on between them for a while– like they’ve been very cold towards each other. Which is weird! Cause like! They used to be suuuuuper close and all that!! So I thought, hey! Let’s see if I can’t help them talk out their differences!! So I invited them both to the cafe and thought we could mediate! Aspin seemed happy until Diamond showed up, and Diamond was really chilly when he saw Aspin! He wouldn’t talk or anything… And he just got up and left! >^< Aspin seems really depressed now and I think I just made things worse… I just want my friends to be friends again! I’m not sure what to do now… I’ll have to write to Diamond soon to make sure he’s not super pissed at me. And I’ll have to take Aspin to lunch for real this time, they seem super down about the whole thing.
Ahhhh I’ve been thinking so much on this, I haven’t even thought about my own Valentine’s Day! I guess I’m just not in the mood… Bijou and Sirius did send me some nice candies but… sighhh. I watched Bibi sing karaoke last night and she's a REALLY good singer, I didn't realize she had it in her! o-o DO NOT challenge her to a sing off, she WILL WIN!!
Aspen seemed a little bummed, so I'm taking them out for coffee today and we're gonna eat tons of sweet stuff!! I'm going to this place Bijou recommended, I think Aspen will like it.

Gift Wars is HERE AT LONG LAST! I've been preparing for this since, like, after Halloween! I'm very confident in my gifts this year, hehe. No one's gonna know what hit them! I even managed to stay within my budget this year! Mostly. Kinda. There was like, one present that put me over but it'll be TOTALLY WORTH IT to see the look on Bijou's face! She won't know what'll hit her!! Though, I guess I also need to think about later in the month... wait I think I might be screwed actually!!
Seriously though, it's all about quality and not quantity! So what if I don't have the most gifts this year? They'll be the best gifts any of you ever receive! You can safely bet on that! Or not, as long as Fable Faction wins, it doesn't matter! LET'S GO TEAM!

The best Holiday is over... TT-TT BUT THAT ALSO MEANS THAT GIFT WARS IS ALMOST HERE! It's a close second hehe~ I've been planning my gifts like crazy since last year. Bijou completely outshone me during Gift Wars, I NEED to get her back for that!! And probably try to one up Sirius while I'm at it. He's so bad at accepting gifts it's hilarious, he won't know what to do when I show up with a pile, no, a MOUNTAIN OF GIFTS!! Of course I've gotta do that for everyone... oh no, wait, how much money do I have-- Eek, well, I'm good at crafting, kind of!!
I usually call this season the "Holiday Rush" cause of just how many there are around this time of year. I love it but man it's SO bad for my wallet!! TT-TT Here's to hoping it doesn't bankrupt me (or anyone!!) this year!
Oh, and Sirius LOVED his costume! Trust me! ;) He got totally wasted and had a blast! You'd never expect it from that guy, but he can have fun too when he wants too!!

I found this really pretty crystal ball the other day and it's the center piece of my dining room~ Now all I need is to invite someone over to my house to show it all off, eheh. Ahhh, September... also known as the month BEFORE Halloween!! Who actually cares about September aside from using it as time to get ALL of the cute and creepy things!!! >w< I'm already stocking up on candy to give to the kiddos in the Faction~~ They're so sweet.
The other day I went shopping to hunt for some cute pastel Halloween decorations and saw CHRISTMAS STUFF. They had NOTHING! o.o uhmmm I think you skipped the best holiday??? Geez. I deal with enough kill-joys on a daily basis, I don't need that AFTER work! e-e

Illusion Faction Leader ~ Loyal Liurene.

Hello, visitor. My name is Sirius, Illusion Faction's newest leader. I came into this position after the previous leader entrusted me with it almost a year ago. Though I may still be new to this, I hope it doesn't affect your opinion on the Illusion faction. We remain as strong as ever! I will live up to the expectations our previous leader and our faction members have of me, trust.

It feels like there's no resting now-a-days. Spring always is a rather busy season for us in the factions. As the snow melts and the weather improves, many Vrenes end up getting their energy back after the slump that is winter ends. Still, the weather's too unstable to say it's over. After the rain, the cold returns for a while until it warms again and the cycle repeats. It's a bit weird to admit, but I like this season. The rain always feels refreshing, especially after the snow from winter.
I don't mean to be sentimental, though. We're getting busy around here preparing for the next big event next month. Selene likes bragging every time she gets a big win like that last time, so we can't let Fable Faction place first in this next event. We on the Illusion Faction will have to work much harder to ensure our next event is a success! Please do your best.

Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone. I’m not much for the holiday, but I usually check in on my friends to make sure they’re doing well. It’s nice to hear from people you haven’t heard from in a while, actually, it’s my favorite part of the day. That’s… a little embarrassing to write out, but maybe Selene has rubbed off on my a bit too much today.
Actually, she’s been acting weird today. She keeps going back and forth between trying to tell me something happened and then saying “It’s not a big deal actually! Never mind!” so I can’t get a read on her. She’s been on this new dating app lately, so I wonder if she’s met someone. I hope so, she’s been single too long and it shows. Regardless, I’m sure it’ll work out.
As for me? I plan on staying in with Damion. It’s been a while since I’ve watched any movies, and I plan on catching up on a few that released recently. There’s a few I skipped out on due to the previous Faction Event… It’ll be nice to relax for a while.

Good job this year, Illusion Faction. While we only placed third in the Gift Wars, your efforts were still great. We weren't too far from stealing second from Lore Faction. Unfortunately for all factions, I suppose Selene hyped up Fable Faction too much since they gained an early point lead and just kept going. All is fine though, the whole point was to have fun and give gifts, right? Though, I don't think she was all too impressed with my gift this year. Bijou and Aspen liked theirs though, so who cares? Selene's like that every year.
We're also heading into a new year today. I'm in charge of putting together this year's festival... I was told our ancestors were most powerful over years like this-- the humans called it the "Year of the Dragon" or something? And I have to get the festival ready to go by the time it's set to start. I hope I can do a good enough job for everyone, I haven't done something like this before.
...Why do I hear Aspen outside my door asking someone about fireworks? Shit, I've gotta go, Aspen and fireworks seems like a deadly combination right now. I'll see you all at the festival!

Gift Wars has officially kicked off. Everyone in Myth City has been shopping like crazy. I've been planning my own list for the event, though I've been told I'm terrible at picking gifts. That's not the important part though. The same person told me "it's the thought that matters most" so why should it matter? I've already got a lot on my plate this month. Besides, she's just as bad as I am with these things...
It's doesn't matter, though. I have confidence that Illusion Faction will take home the win after Gift Wars is up. As long as Aspen doesn't try cooking again for anyone's gifts, I think everyone will make it out safely. Seriously, you should have seen the mess they made last month... Don't let them cook.

All the Vrenes around Vrenes' Keep are getting riled up for Gift Wars already this year. I've had several meetings with many from Illusion Faction about the event at this point. This will be my first one on my own for Illusion Faction, which is a bit intimidating, but if Selene can do it easily, then so can I. I've also got a plan ready for this year and the things I need are half bought. No one will expect it, but I take these things seriously, you know?
Oh... and don't believe a thing Selene says. I refuse to check her blog to see what she's writing, but the Halloween party went fine and nothing eventful happened. She likes telling tall tales sometimes.

...You know, when Selene said the faction leaders should keep a blog, I was expecting something more informational. I've been writing down notes of things I've noticed going on around the factions and in Myth City in general. I was actually going to post about that this month too, but then Selene came up to me and actually showed me what the blog looked like, and... well... would it surprise you if I told you Selene was the one decorating our pages? All I'm doing is sending her what to post. Well, I guess it doesn't matter much.
Regardless of how the page looks, it'll still be a good resource, I suppose. One thing we have to bring up that didn't seem to get brought up much in the past years, try not to get too caught up in Halloween celebrations when you have Faction duties to attend to. There's a time and place for play, and I've seen many Vrenes end up hurt because their costumes weren't competition-friendly. Selene is a victim herself, and yet she still finds more and more out there costumes to do every year, I'm not sure how they keep letting her do that every year. Either way... just stay safe and try not to get hurt, everyone. The last thing I want to hear at the end of the day is how someone injured themself because their costume heels were too high.

The migration of Vrenes from outside of Vrenes' Keep, it happens from time to time, though I'm noticing a lot more Vrenes coming in this time than the previous times. Even though I was much younger when a few of the previous ones occurred, this one is starting to feel significant. I've noticed an uptick in the number of new recruits in all of the factions, not just Illusion Faction. The other leaders may have trouble with all the new recruits if they aren't organized enough. Except for maybe Bijou, she's always well organized.
I'm still not sure how Illusion Faction will fare with them, but I know we're strong enough to handle anything that gets thrown our way, so I'm not worried for us. People are relying on me, so naturally, I'll give my all to keep the faction healthy.

Diamond

Factionless ~ Solitary Rhyrene

I'm Diamond, owner of Crystal Lodging up in the Crown's Crest. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure why I was invited to create a profile with all the faction leaders... but I guess it wouldn't hurt. Crystal Lodging is open year round, so if you ever find yourself itching to get out of the city, come find me. I'll take you in for a spell and you'll leave feeling refreshed!

This year seems a bit warmer than the previous years. The snow is a little thinner than usual. I've shed a few layers and am wearing something a bit lighter. The fire crackling in the fireplace feels a bit too warm for the occasion... Yes, I feel a bit more lively with the warmer weather, but I'm not particularly happy. It's never pleasant to run into someone from your past you'd rather forget, even if you're always going to be connected to them whether you like it or not.
Warmer weather goes to my head sometimes, so I prefer the cold. It affects my mood in weird ways. Admittedly, I've been thinking about some stuff I usually wouldn't. I've been getting mad, sad, and everything in between. It's got me wanting to do something I swore off for ages, but I need to cool my head before I actually do it. I don't want to make a mistake like last time.
...I heard there's a faction event that's going to happen soon.

It snowed again last night. The Dreemis that take refuge up here wanted to go into Myth City today to celebrate the holiday, but it’s best this way. Staying up at the lodge is a better idea, all things considering. I’m not in the mood to see anyone today. Honestly, if it wasn’t for the lodge, I probably wouldn’t be writing today.
…Spring is around the corner. The snow up here tends to fall less in the spring, which makes me sad. I like the cold and snow. But when summer rolls around, the snow will melt, and the Crystal Flowers will bloom again. Dozens of Vrenes will come visit and this place will be busier than ever. To think it’s all just to see some rare flowers. It’s a little silly. I remember I was once told it was kind of romantic. They used to love seeing them every summer… but I can’t say I can see how it can be considered romantic. I guess I’m just not a summer person, that’s why I live up here, after all.
I… have a lot on my mind, so I’m going to end this entry here. If you’re feeling adventurous, come up and visit Crystal Lodging, the snow isn’t too heavy right now so it’s quite pleasant, even for a Vrenes that doesn’t like the cold. You might be surprised.

Happy New Years to everyone! It was beautiful up here last night. I could see some of the fireworks off in the distance from a perch up on the mountain. It was a nice moment in a usually quiet place. The Dreemis around here loved watching them too, I think some of them were sad they missed out on a lot of the celebrations. Maybe I should pick up some fireworks myself when I go into the city just for them...
Oh, I'm actually going into Myth City here soon. There's supposed to be a big celebration happening soon and all the Dreemis want to go, so I'm closing up the lodge while I go down to see what's up. It does sadly mean no one will get to come up here for a while, but I guess everyone needs a break, right? Plus my friend Selene invited me to grab some coffee with her, so I guess it'll be worth it. I hope.

A blizzard hit the lodgings on the first of the month. While I enjoy watching the snow fall, I can't deny it leaves me feeling lethargic. While I think I have a higher tolerance to the cold than most other Vrenes, even moments like this makes me want to curl up by a fire and doze off. That's perhaps why there's not much business this winter. Travel is harder and most would rather be somewhere warmer.
It can be rather lonely when blizzards hit, but I guess that's why I like having the Dreemis around. They're always so full of energy, and they love playing games with each other. I enjoy watching them. I'm sure they feel lonely around the holidays, too. It's not easy having to leave everything behind... I certainly know that all too well.

It's finally getting colder. Well, colder than usual. When I have to leave the lodge to get supplies from the near by town, it doesn't feel super warm and humid anymore, at least. Being close to the sea like that can do those kinds of things to the area, especially since it's basically locked in by the mountain range. It's a miracle the mountains stay nice and breezy through (most) of the year.
Still, a lot of Vrenes don't seem to like the winter. It makes me kind of sad since I enjoy a lot of the winter activities- hence, the lodge. I caught wind from Selene about the next Faction event, and while I don't really want to get involved, it might be good for the lodge if I did something promotional alongside it...

People always act a little surprised when I tell them I'm actually not much of a holiday kind of person. It's mostly because it's too noisy for me... sure, it ends up good for business, but I feel like the holidays are just too loaded. There's a lot of obligations and sour memories attached to them for me, I'd rather skip them entirely if it were up to me.
The Dreemis that take shelter at the lodge seem to really like the holidays, though, so I usually let them decorate the place to their liking. I have to say, I do enjoy seeing the creative ways they decorate the lodge. It's cute, and they're cute when they get so excited and want to take pictures. They make it worth it, I think. I'm hoping this year the holidays won't be so bad, but we'll have to see. I don't like getting wrapped up in the Faction stuff, but it feels like they keep dragging me back in...

It's a bit of a shame September is always one of the slower months of the year. Most Vrenes dislike the cold, and fresh snow coats the Crown's Crest this time of year. More people should visit, maybe we could host a skiing event soon.
Even if business is slow, it can still be nice to have the time to myself and the lodge. There's not a lot of employees and the Dreemis that hang out up here can be a handful during the busier months. I should at least be grateful and find time to relax. Still, can't help the itch to be doing something instead...
