Sorry if this has already been asked, but in your Carnelian Lives AU, how does Carnelian feel about Peril? Does Peril and her role in the story change because Carnelian is still alive (considering Carnelian’s death was the catalyst of Escaping Peril)?
hey gecko!! carnelian trusts peril, and peril feels positively enough about carnelian, id imagine.. theyd bond over their hatred for queen scarlet lmao i havent read the books recently enough to remember exactly what happens in escaping peril unfortunately, but i suppose peril's pov might be replaced (or shared) by carnelian in that case!
ooo interesting! in the og book this random skywing accuses peril of killing carnelian when ruby is visiting jade mountain to check on carnelian’s body, so i was curious if that bit would change :)
OHH i see!! in that case, carnelian and moon are both still injured, so peril could still be accused by that skywing and the book could probably play out relatively the same.. i do think that carnelian would play more of a role though, definitely!

In which Carnelian survives the dragonflame cactus attack... feel free to ask questions, but expect some answers to be vague or underdeveloped! I just had to get something down haha

OOOOO this is cool, but what about Bigtail?
Bigtail probably wouldn't make it; Carnelian survived but that was only because the dragonflame cactus exploded a little bit later rather than it being weaker than in canon, if you know what I mean? I don't see why Tamarin wouldn't still survive though!
