yall I am struggling

if you noticed my sudden and continuous absence, handling multiple social medias was really stressful so I just shifted to HoYoLAB exclusively because it's the only place I get interactions and friends.

But I want to spread the good word of Kazuschl, so I came back from the dead

overanalyzing the bp storyline:

i was absolutely correct about the bp storyline being very important and tied to the main plot. like first things first, it's voiced by venti. they could've chosen anybody, but they chose the very first archon we meet. secondly, its about two siblings. now I know there are a lot more siblings than just our protagonists, but who else is that important in the plot? the story starts like this, "once there was a glorious kingdom established in the heavens" which is already suspicious. there is the first heir who also looks suspiciously similar to lumine, tasked with finding a genesis pearl but instead gets tricked into believing she's the queen of the kingdom of darkness. this is a very strong similarity to the abyss twin as they are the prince/princess who rules abyss. whether they are doing this with their own will or are being controlled, that's a different matter. the story ends with venti saying that the second heir picks up after the first one and this is their tale. up until this point, everything is vaguely similar but what does it mean? is it really talking about the twins or is it just a tale?

well, i also was wondering about that. the chances of it being about them is high but still in the end doesn't mean much. we already guessed that much. but where it does get interesting is the fact that this so called "genesis pearl" is a real thing. in the book "breeze amidst the forest" you find this damning piece of evidence

"an atrous sun befell its kingdom and a luminous pearl lost its glow"

then the genesis pearl and this pearl has to be the same thing, or at least elude to each other

I tried to use more cloudy edge watercolor (you can see on the hair and neck) but I learned that I greatly prefer just being able to mix everything on one layer (you can see on the tails)

This is an older sketch that I figured I'd just finish up. I like how I did the hair but I always have such a hard time drawing genshin hairstyles in a way that I like but is still accurate lol
