Bad Time For a Hangover
Anywhos— Meet Demetrius! One of my newest characters and my latest brainrot, who is now a part of the extended zombie AU me and some friends have been messing around with while we play Project Zomboid. Unlike Laurence, if y'all have seen the art I've done of him (mostly over on my DA), Demetrius here was made specifically for this story, and I've honestly had so much fun developing him as a character. This comic in particular was actually for my Comic Character Dev class, where we had to take a character still in early development and basically iron them out until we eventually had to make a comic page with them. This is the first like... Fully done comic page I've done since... Oh god, HBIW??? (Once again, something you'd probably only know if you've seen my ancient ass stuff over on DA... Lmao) It has been a hot minute. I've done some other simpler comics ofc, but this is the kind of thing I actually want my "official" stuff to eventually look like.
On that note, I will say I need to figure out a way to streamline things. This took way longer than I'd like to admit, and although part of that is because I've been dealing with a million other things, it also was just a lot to figure out all the little details for just one page of a comic. I'll get better at that as I go, I suppose.
All this to say, I hope to continue doing things like this! This story in particular will be getting expanded on for the final of my aforementioned class, but we'll see if I pick up directly where this leaves off, or if I jump forward a little to some other events in the story. It'll be my way of experimenting with everything :)
