I’m a cis man sure but i also wanna opt out of the gender binary. None of that shit is my fault or my responsibility and i don’t want any part of it

Believing the gender binary is stupid horseshit doesn’t require me to change my gender actually

Yeaheyah you get it. Not trans but i believe in their beliefs. Sometimes i remember people form gender complexes around what alcoholic beverages or colors they like and i just wonder how they’re not fucking exhausted from keeping up this stupid fucking horseshit. Just do whatever you want forever

@nimagine i know u reblogged this from me but ur so correct 🙏 get peer reviewed

The world exists in such a baffling state of simultaneous sex-aversion and sex-hegemony. Every social platform on the internet is trying to banish sex workers to the shadow realm but I can't post a tweet without at least two bots replying P U S S Y I N B I O. People are self-censoring sex to seggs and $3× but every other ad you see is still filled with half-naked women. Rightwingers want queer people arrested for so much as existing in the same postal code as a child and are also drumming up a moral panic about how teenage boys aren't getting laid enough. I feel like I'm losing my mind.

there is something horrifically grim to it, but illustrations for gaza and palestinians tend to catch more mass attention that actual photos of people. this made me feel incredibly helpless for a long while, seeing both how people would rather look at a neat drawing of red black green and white than look a human in the eyes, and how online platforms would rather push a viral drawing while suppressing those begging for help at the same time.

a way to cope with this feeling has been taking advantage of it to directly guide people to helping palestinians.

if art gets better traction, then there’s an incredible amount of good that can be done by creating art that immediately links to fundraisers. creating art of the many images of those who are asking for help.

within hours of posting my drawing, there has been jumps in the thousands for bashar from gaza’s fundraiser. it’s a small effort in the grand scheme of things. it’s not a fix it. but it’s something good. please take care of each other and do what you can. i think this could help a lot of people if a lot of people did it.

here is bashar. i’ve drawn him, spoken to him, and known him now for a few months. any shares help, any art helps. draw who you see, draw what you see. thanks all

“no tags bc you don’t need to blacklist it” is a horrible approach to have to an extremely upsetting war that a lot of people are online to try and distract themselves from

You know, I see where u are coming from, and I pride my blog in being a safe space (for as dumb as it is). I understand, but I don't think some things should be distracted from. Sometimes upsetting things happen and people need to be made aware of it. My page is escapism for many people, but sometimes it should also be used as a platform to help people, which I've done a few times before. You are free to scroll past that post and continue reading all of my 20,000 other silly posts to feel better!

Reposting from TikTok to hopefully get her closer to her goal of 150k — Aya needs about 100k more in donations in order to evacuate her family of 27 to Egypt as the situation in Rafah worsens. If you can’t donate, share. More eyes on families in Gaza means more aid being sent 🕊️

it was kind of fucked up for wall-e to be that way about fat people now that im thinking about it

I’m never NOT thinking about how the first 40ish minutes of Wall•E are the most evocative, beautiful thing that the Walt Disney company has ever produced bar none, and then the SECOND they reach the space station it becomes the most boring, blunt and extremely ableist “save the earth” animated kids movie in existance for the movie’s remaining sixty minutes. Why did they do that to him.

@punkitt-is-here The most infuriating part is that they weren't even originally human! They were alien blob people, which would have been delightful. At some point there was a deliberate choice to switch the entire design from whimsy to fatphobia and I will never not be mad about it
