Now, why did I make this? Why’d I go through allll the trouble of compiling a bunch of sources for something like this? Well, for one, it’s a special interest of mine. The topic of human sexuality is intensely fascinating to me, and through my time on the internet, I have been exposed to two things: weird sexuality, and people who shame weird sexuality. The goal of this doc is, of course, to act as a ‘hub’ of sorts for sources in order to combat the rhetoric spread by anti-ship, anti-kink, anti-paraphilia, and sex negative groups and individuals. If nothing else, I hope that this document can give you an edge in an argument, a better understanding of people around you, or even just an opportunity to learn something new.
I’m posting this in every relevant tag I can think of (without the post being auto-filtered), come what may. No amount of harassment from any direction will devalue the hours of research and the thousands of words written across dozens of medical journals, articles, and personal anecdotes.
