hi! stumbled upon you with the humans post and honestly it would look like an awesome tattoo. anyway, I'm in a dnd group with homebrew races, classes, background ect. I decided to go with a humanoid shark race that resembles a black tip reef shark and was wondering if you have any interesting facts about them? sorry if it's weird thing to ask

Over the years I've seen a few articles on the curiosities of this species of shark, these are the ones I remember:
⭐They Have Social Behavior: As they are a small species, it makes sense that they would group together in small groups with complex social systems to protect themselves from predators. In a fantasy inspiration, they would probably always be united in large families and live in tropical regions such as beaches and reefs in large houses or villages.
⭐They Have Best Friends: It's a recent discovery and apparently happens in several species of sharks, they are usually always in pairs, always of the same sex, two females or two males, they always swim together and there is even the hypothesis that they will defend their friend. There have been cases of scientists or divers having to interact with a shark to remove a tag or hook, and another shark biting the diver lightly, which could be that shark's faithful friend.
⭐Prey for the Great Hammerhead Shark: Great Hammerhead Sharks have often been seen preying on these little sharks, being their natural predator. So a blacktip reef character could certainly feel intimidated by a Grante Hammerhead character, but nothing would stop them from being friends! Imagine a big hammerhead shark protecting his little blacktip reef friend from other bullying hammerheads sharks hehe
⭐Shy, Slippery and Full of Anxiety: In personality they are extremely shy and insecure, they are very fast and slippery, difficult to catch.
⭐They are viviparous: which means that the female becomes pregnant with an umbilical cord and all!

Boy fresh out of the carwash gets new ribbons instead of an air freshener.
I finally did and actual piece of Me, @valthecircusclown, and another friend in the Dorito-Verse Discord's baby, Indoclipse AKA Dinoboi.
It's funny to me that just idle goofy chatter prodded me to make this rather than any of his story. Flare is there for moral support, as per usual.
I've not attempted shadows or lighting in years, and am pretty proud of how they turned out overall, even if the shadow's shapes are a tad weird.

A new trio of nerdy sharks appears in NewReef City!🏝️✨
I think I got too immersed in the indie shark band that I started to forget the other important characters in the story I wanted to tell, and the heart of the story lies in these three children.
⭐Hanna (Bonnethead Shark) - is the mediator of the trio, with contagious energy and the ability to adapt to the most unexpected challenges. Their optimistic and cheerful nature makes them an invigorating presence and their outspoken sincerity can hurt unintentionally, but their quest for harmony makes them a reliable friend on lifes journey.
⭐Lucca (Zebra Shark) - is the brains of the trio, always with his feet on the ground, perhaps too much so. Although sometimes hard-headed, they is a reliable friend who brings practical solutions, keeping the group on an even keel. Behind his reserved nature lies a world of deep thoughts.
⭐Macco (Mako Shark) - is the creative soul of the trio, a hyperactive dreamer. His vivid imagination and love of adventure is inspiring, always spotting the unique in the little details that go unnoticed. Although his impulsiveness and occasional lack of focus can lead to unusual situations, in the end it is his empathy that always brings the friends together.
They have this strange coincidence of having repeated letters in their names and faithfully believe that this is a cosmic sign that they were meant to be friends!✨
Originally, the idea for them was born out of the specific artwork I did for Sharktober 2020. It all started with Macco, this little mako shark who loves video games. Over time I ended up creating two friends for them who would be Hanna and Lucca, I changed their design a bit and now everything has expanded to a whole city.
The idea is that it's a story about the abstract dreams and idols that inspire these three children. Macco wants to be a racing driver and is inspired by a famous driver who is a mako shark, Lucca wants to be a writer and is inspired by a high fantasy writer who is a whale shark, while Hanna wants to get involved in music and is inspired by an indie band, already known here.
But it is through life's adventures that they will discover their true virtues, which are closer than they realize. While other characters' parallel stories are happening and a big mystery will connect everyone to a common event.
At some point, if my chaotic life allows, I'll update the post with more news about them! I hope you enjoy it! 🦈✨

Once upon a time, in an underwater realm, there dwelled a little shark princess who lived in reclusion within her porcelain palace. Every night, her heart longed to gaze at the stars above, yet her royal duties held her captive.
Nevertheless, every sunday twilight, her loyal bard friend would bring the mystical presence of the starry spirit to her, while singing magical melodies about his travels beyond the sea!

Originally, sharks were referred to as 'sea dogs' by sailors, hence the common occurrence of dog-related names for sharks (e.g. dogfish, porbeagle shark, shark pups).
this episode was kinda cute ksk Foxy pratically acting like a father to two rebellious teenagers (He even offered to put food coloring in the popcorn when they complained that it wasn't red) It's also curious that one of the brothers (the calmer one) seemed more willing to participate in things (tried the food and drinks, asked what they were playing when Foxy offered) while the other wanted to get away from there as quickly as possible, he even asked what was stopping them from leaving, but the other didn't respond
