Tempted to learn Blender just to make a 3D model of an Obelisk to make drawing my Mummymon OCs SOOOOO much easier lol
#not art#on my most recent game dev course we had access to maya so i used that#then the course ended and i lost access to maya#and the learning curve of switching from maya to blender put me off doing any 3d modelling afterwards#WHY DIDNT I JUST USE BLENDER AT THE TIME#curse you past me lol#blender isnt even hard the interface is just weird and intimidating at first#but anyway yeah i should do this#not like if i gained access to maya again id remember most of the shortcts and stuff#or maybe i would??muscle memory is quite powerful in unexpected ways#BUT YEAH IMMA RAMBLING

Lichen Mantis Fairy . One of the most unbelievable species of mantis to me is Oxyelaea elegans, which masterfully disguises itself as a piece of lichen! I love especially the nymph stage, when all the crackles in its exoskeleton mirror the weird shapes of lichen. I think fairies would have a ball mimicking this mantis because it already feels like a weird hybrid between creature and plant.

Keep meaning to get back into trying voice acting and maybe make a demo reel and I just keep thinking about the few times I've ever been on webcam/voice chat with Americans and they've invariably been like "wow your accent is fancy/cool!" and it's like bruh other English people think I sound like an inbred farmer lol.

God how do people draw those funny goofy expression reaction images. like the mspaint rage and crying scribbles and stuff you know what I mean? I try doing little comics like that sometimes but I just can't do it lol my muscles are too tightly wound in "no the art must be like xyz" mode...
