Operation Olive Branch C//mmissions!

The way it works is that if you donate to anyone on the Operation Olive Branch Spreadsheet and send me proof, I will draw you either a flat headshot or a flat fullbody depending on the amount of money you donate!

If you don’t know where to stop, let me know and I will give you a family to donate too.

Send me a message if you’re interested! Also check out my carrd in my pinned for other art examples.

Open indefinitely, infinite slots!

there is something horrifically grim to it, but illustrations for gaza and palestinians tend to catch more mass attention that actual photos of people. this made me feel incredibly helpless for a long while, seeing both how people would rather look at a neat drawing of red black green and white than look a human in the eyes, and how online platforms would rather push a viral drawing while suppressing those begging for help at the same time.

a way to cope with this feeling has been taking advantage of it to directly guide people to helping palestinians.

if art gets better traction, then there’s an incredible amount of good that can be done by creating art that immediately links to fundraisers. creating art of the many images of those who are asking for help.

within hours of posting my drawing, there has been jumps in the thousands for bashar from gaza’s fundraiser. it’s a small effort in the grand scheme of things. it’s not a fix it. but it’s something good. please take care of each other and do what you can. i think this could help a lot of people if a lot of people did it.

here is bashar. i’ve drawn him, spoken to him, and known him now for a few months. any shares help, any art helps. draw who you see, draw what you see. thanks all

Tala still has hope to live in safety, far from and violence.

She dreams of a world where she can grow without fear, where her laughter isn't overshadowed by conflict.

Help Tala find a path to a secure future and start a life filled with peace, where she can pursue her dreams and build a brighter tomorrow.

Together, we can make a difference.

It’s really heartening how much people on this site came together to help Ahmed @90-ghost. He’s in Egypt now with his younger brother waiting on his mom and older brother to join them. The issue now is living expenses. Life is extremely difficult for displaced people, and the future is uncertain. If you’ve ever wondered how you can help a Palestinian displaced by the genocide, here’s one way to do so.

This is Money Snake. She only appears every 312 years.

If you reblog her picture within the next twenty-five seconds you will have good luck and fortune for the rest of your life.

I reblogged her late last year and my 2024 has been very satisfying work-wise and (secure enough to not stress out) money-wise so far. Money Snake is wise and good.

I don’t think we’ve put it enough into perspective.

Rafah is 48 times smaller than Rhode Island. Israel is forcing millions of Gazans into Rafah and trapping them all to bomb them. Keep speaking, keep telling others, keep protesting, do not turn your back on them! It is imperative we keep it up!

As we commemorate 76 years of the Nakba, it's crucial to remind everyone again that the Nakba was not an isolated incident that began and ended in 1948.

76 years ago, when Israeli generals like Moshe Sharett said things like "we have forgotten that we have not come to an empty land to inherit it, but we have come to conquer a country from people inhabiting it, that governs it by the virtue of its language and savage culture", of course current ones will carry the same genocidal notion with calls for "a Nakba [in Gaza] that will overshadow the 1948 Nakba".

The genocide that is carried out in Gaza today is only a continuation of the violence and massacres committed by now dead Israeli officials in the 1940s; it is an extension of policies that Israel founded itself on.

Make not mistake, the Nakba continues to this very day. With it, our pursuit of justice persists. And with the shifting tides, our call never wavered: Free Palestine.

learning that people want you in their lives is a skill you can develop if it does not come naturally

it feels fake but your friends miss you sometimes

the reason you've been hanging out with your closest friends fairly regularly for the past 12+ years is because you have fun together

people who don't like you that much will not stay in your life for over a decade asking to hang out and inviting you to things and texting you

reminder that donating just a few $ to gofundme campaigns actually helps, you don't have to donate huge amounts if you don't have the funds, every little bit is useful. give $10, $5, even $1. it all adds up. don't scroll past because you think you can't help. help in your own capacity. donate a dollar. share and speak up.

here are a few gofundme links that still need a lot of help

If everyone who reblogs this post donates $5 (which I now know is the minimum you can donate on gofundme) to at least one of these, think about how fast we can help them all reach their respective goals

Since I made this post less than 24 hours ago we've collectively raised over $2000, and a lot of those donations were in the amount of $5-10. Keep sharing and keep donating. There is strength in numbers, and if those in power won't help we still have to do what we can. Small numbers add up. Thank you all for doing what you can. It does make a difference.
