So some people decided to experiment with sculk underground, leading it to grow out of control and posing a threat to the outside. With the help of a god they trap the sculk inside unintentionally trapping some people not even affiliated with the sculk.

Some of those people are the cast, with some other there from divine intervention or just lived in the cave before the sealing.

As for general timezones most of the current members are CST though me and my close friend are AEST
