dont usually make posts like this and im not feeling especially articulate but ive been talking with faten on instagram, she and her husband are both dentists from gaza who are trying to evacuate their three children. after being displaced they are now also left in the fallout of todays attack on the nuseirat camp which has a death toll already in the hundreds, and she is extremely afraid for her children. cinsider helping her out, as her goal of 50k is nearly untouched ❀️

Saw something that finally helped me realize something that’s been bothering me - trans women are being banned instantly with no warnings for the things they’ve supposedly done. Even if charlotte had been sexually harassing people what the FUCK kind of moderation policy is β€œfirst sign of trouble your account is permanently banned you’re never allowed to sign up for the website again”. How on earth does this make sense logically. Why is it that the scrutiny of moderation is so much harsher on trans women then it is to anyone else? Why is it that nazis and transphobes who harass people not even get a warning when charlottan is never allowed entry to the site again for supposedly doing something once?
