i. Process
◇ Commissions are not first-come, first-served. I will let you know whether your commission is accepted or not, usually depending on my current workload and whether I believe I can do the design justice or not - I reserve the right to decline a commission for any reason.◇ Turnaround time can range anywhere from 3 days to at max 4 months; I am a full-time student and I will be prioritizing that and my mental health over artwork. I apologize for not being able to complete my commissions sooner, but it's just not possible for me at the moment. Please refrain from commissioning me if strict deadlines will be necessary, or if waiting will otherwise be an issue.◇ Due to the reasons above, if I feel that I am being rushed on a commission, I will halt work on your piece and reimburse the price paid according to my refund policy.◇ I will send progress updates for approval after each stage of my work. Please note when I will allow major and minor changes! At certain points of my work they will require additional charge or no longer be possible for me. The earlier you request changes in the piece, the easier it is for me to add them.
» Sketch stage
After I have received full payment, you will receive a sketch for initial approval. This is where you can request any change you want in the piece. I request that all major changes - like changing the pose significantly - be made here.» Rough coloring stage
I will move on to coloring and shading the sketch to help visualize what the final product will look like. I will only permit minor changes, whereas major ones can be made with additional charge.» Rendering stage
Once approved, I'll begin working on lineart and clean coloring. At this point, major changes are no longer allowed; I will only allow for minor changes.» Animating stage
Changes are generally no longer possible. Please make sure everything looks right during the rendering stage before I move to this point!
◇ Once I am finished, I will send you the full resolution files through google drive. Animated commissions will also include BG and transparent versions in MP4, MOV, and GIF files.◇ If you are in need of specific exports (eg. with or without certain effects, or with a specific file size) then specify what you need once I am finished with your commission - I'll be happy to provide them to you. Likewise, if you have an existing commission piece from me that you'd like particular files to, feel free to DM me at any time for them.
ii. Payment
◇ Prices listed for my animated pieces are a baseline and are subject to complexity fees. While I do provide typical ranges for my commission types and add-ons, they can possibly increase beyond the specified range if I deem it necessary. More details means more things to rig and animate - this gets very time consuming for me, so please be understanding of this! If you're in need of a quote, please feel free to DM me.◇ If you are in need of a refund, please let me know as soon as possible. I will reimburse you according to how much progress I have already made on the piece. However, keep in mind that refunds will no longer be possible after I have hit certain stages of my work.

◇ I generally will not begin work on a commission until full payment is received. Payment will be sent through paypal or stripe invoices, which are listed in USD.◇ Payment plans are available for commissions exceeding 150 USD, with half of the payment upfront and the other half sent upon completion. I will send low resolution / heavily watermarked versions of the artwork after completion, then send the full resolution files after the second half of the payment is sent.
iii. Usage Rights
◇ I retain the rights to the created artwork. Credit is required when posting the piece elsewhere. Do not falsely claim to be the artist of the commissioned artwork.◇ Clients are not permitted, under any circumstances, to use any part of the commissioned artwork for NFTs / Non Fungible Tokens, or AI art generators. Use of the artwork with blockchains, cryptocurrency, or AI art is strictly prohibited.
» Personal use
Involves no profit being made off of my artwork. Usage with nonprofit organizations or purposes is allowed. You are free to filter colors or change the background of the commissioned artwork, as well as use it for icons, banners, etc. so long as it is credited and linked back to me and my social media clearly.» Commercial use
Must be negotiated - you must come to a written agreement with me beforehand for the commercial rights of the artwork. This includes the rights to sell, trade, create and mass produce merchandise of, or otherwise profit off of my artwork. Use with organizations that generate a monetary profit also fall into this category.» Streaming use
Subject to +10% of the base price as a commercial usage fee. My work must still be credited and linked back to me and my social media clearly.
◇ Finished commissions will be uploaded on my social media, and may be used as examples or listed in my portfolio. Please let me know if you do not want to be tagged once I upload my work.◇ If you prefer that the finished piece is not uploaded on social media in any capacity, please specify this with your commission details. I will charge a +10% of the base price for the piece to be omitted from my art uploads, portfolio, and sample pieces.
