Nyandroids are a virtual closed species of cat robots who exist solely in the digital world. They were programed and designed to assist humans through technology, and act as virtual companions. Similar to things like Neopets; you still need to tend and care for your Nyandroid, as they can run out of battery, glitch, and even become corrupted if not careful.

Not a cat person? Don’t worry! Nyandroids have an exclusive form that makes them resemble their canine counterpart, known as Wandroids. Wandroids are very similar to Nyandroids, but have more parts that resemble a given dog breed.
