There are a variety of status conditions in the CardTamers world. They are as follows:
- Sleep () - Characters which are asleep cannot act. Sleep can wear off over time.
- Burn () - Characters which are burned take damage every turn. Burns wear off over time.
- Poison () - Characters which are poisoned take damage every turn. Poison requires an item to cure.
- Stun () - Characters which are stunned cannot act. Stuns last a single turn.
- Freeze () - Characters which are frozen cannot act and take damage every turn.
- Confuse () - Characters which are confused may attack their allies, their enemies, or even themselves! Confusion wears off over time.
- Provoke () - Characters which are provoked will attack the enemy which provoked them. Provoke wears off after a turn.
