The basic rules of internet civility apply here. This is an open forum, so please make sure that no 18+/NSFW content is posted. (If you absolutely must share your NSFW works with the rest of the community, um... I'll have to ask the rest of the community first if we want a separate section.) Flaming, rude comments and spamming will receive no mercy. Art thefts and harassment of fellow members belong elsewhere.

When creating new topics, please ensure that your post titles are descriptive enough for all members to understand. Vague topic titles such as "I have a question" are greatly discouraged, and are likely to be edited by the mods to a more helpful one.

Finally, as English is not everyone's first language, we require all members to post in a coherent and comprehensible manner to minimise confusion. We require all posts to be made in English so that we can understand its contents and mod accordingly. Posts that are deemed inappropriate will be destroyed.

Failure to abide in any of the rules will result in warnings and eventual banishment from the community if we perceive that the warnings are disregarded.

This forum is divided into three major sections: Yozellin for Meisters, or the main hub for OOC discussions; The School of Golems and Beyond, for roleplay purposes; and the Arts Precinct for members to share their creative works.

YOZELLIN FOR MEISTERS

This section is further sub-divided into:

1) General Talk: This is a section for general chatter. Friending memes, animanga conversations, "what music are you currently listening to" topics go here.
2) Trading Hub: This section is for trades and collecting. Queries, discussions and trade offers can be posted here.
3) Roleplay Talk: This section is for discussions related to roleplay and character building. Plots that you want to brainstorm or develop and so on go here.
4) Admin Desk: Questions, feedback and suggestions that are meant for the mods go here. This is also where we will post announcements that is meant for the community (which is separate to our regular updates on dA).

THE SCHOOL OF GOLEMS AND BEYOND

This section is further sub-divided into:

1) Yozellin Life: This is where all your roleplay threads belong. We've decided not to specify locations for greater flexibility, so that more play-styles can be accommodated. Your roleplay does not need to take place in Yozellin, or even the Golem Meisters world itself. We're open to suggestions on how this section can be improved, so if you have any queries feel free to post in the Admin Desk.
2) Alternate Worlds: This is your space for roleplays that are not set in Yozellin. High school AUs, Harvest Moon AUs, alien AUs, mythology AUs are all okay. Feel free to create as many settings as you like.
3) Yozellin Dressing Room: The Dressing Room is a borrowed term from the days of Livejournal (now everyone knows how old I am...). It was a kind of roleplay community which was open to all players; there's no joining, no activity checks and all of that hassle, so it served as a great platform for roleplayers/muns to test our character muses before joining dedicated roleplay groups. You can post in whatever play-style you like and choose whatever setting you feel like exploring at the moment! First-person roleplay, third-person roleplay and even breaking fourth walls are all okay!

ARTS PRECINCT

This section is further sub-divided into:

1) Art Gallery: This section is for artworks, and topics related to drawings. Please remember that this place is mainly for meisters to share their art, so do keep discussions related to drawing techniques, art block rants and so on to a minimum. "I am taking doodle requests" topics are allowed.
2) Fiction Library: This section is for written literature, and topics related to fiction. Again, as this is a place for members to mainly display their works, please keep threads related to writing techniques, writer's block rants and so on to a minimum. "I am taking flash fic requests" topics are okay.
3) Other Things: This section is for creative works that do not fit into any of the above sub-forums, such as cosplays, games, mixed media or even your Sims screenshots, if you made meshes of your Golem Meister OC. (FIRE!!!!) Photos of plush, latte art and so on are welcome. "I am taking requests" topics are okay, excessive amounts of "some helpful videos for you aspiring video makers out there" are not.

All characters submitted by members will now be approved; they don't even have to be related to GMA.
