Aermerea Sanctuary

The Floating Isle of Aermerea, a bastion and large fragment of much of the original Aermerea supercontinent, raised after the war by the All-Mother with help from the trinity. It now floats in the sky, hidden and not visible due to magic. Not even the glorious waterfall coming off its banks can be seen until the waters reach outside the barriers. This heart shaped floating isle, is characterized by lush areas full of flora and fauna all year round, Aermerea is a literal paradise. Non-Aermerean guests are not welcome here due to the war, and it's very seldom one would be invited, but there have been a select few. The isle features beautiful lagoons teeming with unique aquatic life, their colorful bodies dotting the surface to reflect in the sunlight. Inimitable wooded areas hold secrets not yet known, with species and plants long thought to be extinct hiding within it. Aermerea Sanctuary is a safe haven for any Aermerean looking for protection and to be closer to their gods. Devoid of modern technologies this is a peaceful area where all your dreams could be a reality.

Vita Square

Despite its name, this area features a large round cobblestone path in the center of the Isle that surrounds a sealed well. Above the well is a resplendent, ancient sakura tree. This is the tree in which the soul of the All-Mother resides. The large, hanging branches provide shade to those wishing to sit underneath whilst also feeling closer to the All-Mother herself. This location is the heart of the Main Town of Aermerea - full of liveliness, joy, and sunny days. Children often play around the well and Eudora sits upon when she reads to them. There are many benches stationed around to rest after shopping in the stores that surround the circular area, as well as a few picnicking areas. If you are visiting, the tree really is a must see, but don't forget to check out all the businesses too; you might find something special to take home with you.

Hanna's Grooming

Located just off Vita Square is a simple cottage-style boutique with welcoming greenery crawling up the posts of its pristine white porch. On the large front-facing window are the words Hanna’s Grooming. Here, Hanna washes and styles fluffles with the help of her teablossom assistant York. Her goals are to not only make every fluffle that passes through her studio look as adorable as possible, but also to work with the community to find homes for wild fluffles that find their way to her shop. Pecunia Shoppe

On the western side of Vita Square lies a curious and wonderful shop owned and run by the mysterious Safron...who seems to be oddly familiar. Hmmm... With its shelves chock-full of all different kinds of products, this shop is full of fun things you can buy that can change up your looks or give you that boost you need to get through the day. You can also trade and sell things for bundles of pecunia. Safron is always said to be around and kind, and sometimes you can even haggle yourself a deal. Sort of a bleeding heart he is, and a little too generous at times. Deals are not hard to come by here, and they also feature a cacophony of seasonal and godly items. But these just aren't for anyone - you have to have the right glow about you for the secret inventory. Always one to throw in a little something extra into your bag; you won't be disappointed after a trip to this shop.

Potion's House

More like a room on the back end of the Shoppe, occasionally it functions as its own storefront for much more... well, slightly illegal things. Neva makes all the items for the front end of the store and spends lots of time experimenting for herself in the back end, then selling those things for fun. She is a witch, after all. This is also where you can obtain the ever-so-popular tea items and brew yourself a Teamerean, and for the right price she sells all 4 kinds: Teablossoms, Teabanes, Pateasseries, and Galaxteas. This area is a traditional room complete with a cauldron, many shelves of questionable material and an impressive potion brewing apparatus. Neva's prices are a bit steeper than the shop and she is hard on prices so no haggling, and if you try she'll just up the price; she does not do bargains. Come here ready to pay or not at all. Oh! And no refunds, even if by some chance you grow a rogue tentacle. Use them at your own risk.

Pecunia Bank

On the otherside of the path past the Pecunia Shoppe lies a magnificent marble building. This is the main branch of the bank where Aermereans can store their Pecunia so that they aren’t lugging massive heavy bags all over the place. With plenty of friendly tellers, depositing your Pecunia or withdrawing what you want/need for a day of shopping is a breeze.

Pecunia Auctionhouse

Attached to the Bank, this is a curious establishment where anything could be on sale at a given moment and whoever has the coin can walk away with it. Exclusively for auction services, you will be hard pressed to find a “Purchase Now” price on anything. The auctioneer is always someone different and no one has ever met the owner.

Steep and Smell the Roses Tea House

This picturesque cafe on the east side of the square Primavera Path near p is a rather new addition to the island, yet the building stands as if it has always been there, covered in luscious clematis in full bloom and other vining flora to give it a very gorgeous and timeless look. Run by two very peculiar Teamerean twins, one a Teablossom and the other a Teabane who actually is a good leaf, these two run quite the hot spot. They have many fun custom blends of teas and carry a limited amount of treats from the Patisserie connected to them, as well as some homemade tea sandwiches. The inside has a cozy cottage feel with classy scroll work chairs and tables with the sound of light music on the air that always gives you the warm feels.

Delectible Notions Patisserie

Connected to the tea house, this shop is quite a bit bigger and filled with utter delights and drool worthy treats; from cookies to scones, candy to cakes, there is something for everyone here. Stick around for some homemade mixed fruit drinks or an italian soda, as well as sweet treats like ice cream and shaved ice - they have everything your sweet tooth could want. Their undisputed hit is their speciality: gorgeous artistic scenes set in gelatin that are so beautiful you won’t want to eat them. Don’t forget to buy a loaf of sweet bread when you visit, it’s said that it’s good with just about everything. Run by a loving and sweet Pateasserie and some friends that help her out, the store is run sort of like a maid style cafe, and you won’t get better service anywhere else on the Isle.

Paradis de la Mode

Run by Priam, the first ever Amorabloom, this shop has everything a fashionista could need. Don’t let the small storefront fool you, it's bigger on the inside, and boy do they deliver. Featuring a mix of speciality outfits made by Priam himself and other unique couture imported from Iyashino Shima, try not to let your heart flutter too hard when entering.

Kawaii Atelier

Another sweet destination right next door to Paradis de la Mode, this one for all your crafting needs. They pride themselves on having low cost items at top notch quality. From resin craft to needle point, scrapbooking, or art this shop has it all and then some. They even sell a limited number of shojo manga at the front counter, you just have to ask about them. All decked out in Kawaii Lolita, this place is run by a very bubbly Amorapuff who is more than happy to help you with your needs with an infectious smile. Her fashion sense is legendary and some rumours say she used to be an influencer that retired from the life for simpler scenes. Whether that is true or not, she is always dressed to kill and Priam adores styling her.

Knopfloch

A modest boutique that has become well known for its specialty clothing. Every outfit is personally made by the mysterious owner and each is one of a kind, so the shop is regularly empty. People line up as soon as word gets out that new outfits are going to go on display, each wanting to be the one who gets their hands on it. Sometimes they even have an elusive occassional guest designer. (This Location is run by Dornenspieler)

Fleur Boutique

Located at the entrance to Primavera Path, this flower boutique features customizable and artful bouquets and flower arranging. Using the flora from the path they always have a stockpile of colors and flowers to choose from, since everything is always in season here. Run by a mother-daughter team, you can often find the girl in the square giving out free boutineers and corsages to Aermereans.

Primavera Path

A gorgeous cobblestone path leading north off the square and through a huge field of almost every flower imaginable, and maybe even some you can’t. A popular place for sightseeing and artists, you’ll always find this area busy with people walking or sitting on a bench. The path goes on for a long time but if you make it to the end you may find something special. Don’t stray from the path though or you could end up in the Vaniwisp Hideaway, and Non-Vaniswisps wouldn’t want to find themselves here, or you might get tricked.

Waterfall Lagoon

At the end of Primavera Path is a beautiful lagoon. Full of vibrant flora, it is a popular spot to splash and play on a hot day, or for dipping your feet in after making the trek along the path. The water always seems to be just the right temperature to be refreshing and there is even one isolated pond that tends to freeze over in the winter that is the go to spot for ice skating. The main draw of this location however is the fact that it is right on the edge of the Isle and the water flows right off, making the Grand Hidden Waterfall as it is called due to the barrier keeping it from being detected until it passes through its boundary.

Vita Housing

One of the two residential areas on the Isle. Located south of the square so as to not be too far from the shopping area for those times where a trip is warranted., it is made up of lovely cottages that come in single level designs for single occupants or couples and multilevel for small families. Charmingly decorated and fully furnished when you move in, all you have to provide is yourself. Located south of the square, you are never too far from what you need or where you want to be.

Vita Park

A large wooded park near the Nursery and Florion Garden. Couples enjoy taking walks together down the serene pathways, especially in the fall when the leaves change color and paint a beautiful pattern of warm hues and shades. Eudora sometimes brings the children in her care here for nature walks and outdoor lessons.

Happitat Playland

A playground that lies between Eudora’s Nursery and VIta Housing. With slides, swings, climbing walls, and play castles/houses, this is a popular spot for families with young Aermereans to let them burn energy on nice days. Eudora is particularly thankful for this as it gives her a place to send the more rambunctious kiddos when they can’t keep themselves calm enough for indoor play.

Eudora's Nursery

A quaint cottage against the edge of the woods. This is where Eudora raises children and eggs that have been left alone in this world until a new home can be found. The bottom floor is a common area with a playroom, dining room, reading nook, kitchen, bathroom and one bedroom for one of the staff to make sure no one sneaks out at night. The nursery for abandoned eggs and small children is here as well, doubling as Eudora’s room. The second floor is for the younger children, ages 3-13, and their caregivers. There is a small selection of toys for quiet play time but not too many so as not to clutter the floor. The third floor is for the older kids, ages 14-18, and the one caretaker who lives on that floor as well. Everyone pulls their own weight and helps out with chores.

Florion Garden

The garden is an offshoot of the nursery. A field of little flowers encased by a white picket fence. It is here where Oriana takes care of Puffits and Florions that live on the Isle. Left unclaimed in the Field after somehow blooming on their own, something that shouldn’t be able to happen, Oriana brought them to the Isle so that they wouldn’t have to be alone and unloved. The Puffits and Florions here are not lacking in love and attention as people come from all around Aermerea to spend time with these accessible babies, and the children at the nursery can always be found in the garden caring for them as well.

Wisteria Arboretum

To the east of the Square lies a grand white gazebo beneath Cynfael’s Wisteria. With small tables and chairs it makes for a perfect place to have tea or a light picnic. Protected from the elements by large glass windows on all but the side closest to the wisteria, which has no glass so that the tree can grow into the gazebo in all of its hanging glory. A nearby stage makes this a grand venue for outdoor concerts.

Hanae Compound

The Divine Castle of Aermerea lies off in the northeast like something out of a fairy tale. Primarily of a Japanese influenced design, the main castle is on an elevated bluff overlooking a small village. This village is where the minor gods and their families live, as well as the staff and attendants of the castle who do not live within it. The entire compound is enclosed by a large wall that serves more as a physical representation of the barriers and wards surrounding the castle rather than an actual deterrent from people entering unannounced or uninvited.

Hanae Castle

A beautiful Edo style castle with seven visible stories from the outside, the interior is much larger and very spacious. It is here where almost all the major gods and goddesses of the pantheon reside with their families. Each one has a personal wing, if not an entire floor. There are rooms on the lower levels for servants and attendants.

Great Hall

Upon entering the castle, you find yourself in a long hallway. There are a few doorways along either side of the room as well as a couple of staircases leading to both the upper and lower levels. At the far end of the hall is the doorway leading to the Grand Ballroom. The hallway is decorated by multiple plants, some flowering while others are just green pieces. A blue carpet with gold scrollwork fills the floor and makes for a heavenly surface to walk on due to how soft it is.

Ballroom

An ornate ballroom that is used for many a lavish party on the Isle. Spacious enough to hold the population of the Isle plus guests and still let everyone have room to mingle, dance, or sit to the side to relax. Staircases in the corners of the room lead up to balconies that overlook the main floor, allowing for a better break from the revelry should you need it. A stage along one well is perfect for musicians to set up to entertain or for a host to stand when addressing their guests. The far wall is a large stained glass and crystal window depicting scenes from Aermerea’s history as well as images of the Trinity and other essential deities. A door in the center of the wall leads out to a garden that has a lovely fountain and leads into the main grounds of the castle.

Hanaki Palace

A grand looking building on the grounds behind the main castle, it is here where the Trinity reside. While looking ornate and inapproachable in its regality, it is actually just a fancy building that the Trinity use for official meetings and other such matters that the gods and goddesses cannot/will not handle. However, none of the Trinity actually reside here, despite popular opinion stating otherwise, as they are not beings who relish such ostentatious displays of status. The only reason the palace is even a thing is the other gods and goddesses wouldn’t stop insisting that they should live in a home more fit for their status. As no one stays within the palace after their business is accomplished save for the Trinity’s attendants no one knows this.

Trinity Cottage

A quaint little cottage that lies in a hidden clearing in the forest behind the Palace. Only reachable by the Trinity through a hidden gateway that only they can open. Consisting of an open floor kitchen and common room design on the first floor and a bedroom on the second floor. It is the Trinity’s sanctuary away from the stress of the Castle.

Shimmer Gate

Just outside the Castle village and near the entrance to the Lagoon is the Shimmer Gate connecting the Isle to the Mainland. Placed here so the gods and goddesses can monitor who comes and goes as well as give a straight path to either the Square or the Castle, it is in a fairly central point for all who use it.

Vísitet Labyrinth

Beneath the surface of the Isle there is an ancient cave system that has been forgotten to the ravages of time, all entrances having been sealed during the act of the Isle’s ascension. Once home to a multitude of species, they are all believed to be extinct. Crystals of infinitum shapes, sizes, and hues grow freely, illuminated by the bioluminescent fungi that grow here and the glow worms that feed on them. Those who have gotten close enough to a sealed entrance or who are in a thin part of the land swear that they can hear some sort of music coming from inside. No one knows what it means, but maybe someday the answer will be found.

Umezakura Shrine

A large shrine in the northwestern forest. Umehana is the head priestess who oversees it, just as her mother used to. A common place for people to come to when seeking guidance or a blessing that they do not feel they should trouble one of the gods over, there is a wish tree, a prayer bell, and a fortune teller as well as an altar that one can pray at to ask any deity listening to grant them what they seek. Rumors abound that the shrine is also the birthplace of Tsubomi, but no one has been able to confirm or disprove this fact.

Village Housing

A quaint village that lies near the shrine. A second option for housing on the Isle that is more geared towards those who seek a more rural way of life. With a home for every family with just your basic necessities it is like taking into a much simpler world when you enter them. Most food is grown or raised by the residents and they even craft and care for all of their own tools. The few things that they can not provide for themselves are sold at a small store on the outskirts of the village.

CornuVulpes

Behind the village lies a large forest. While regularly explored and travelled by the villagers, no one has ever gone too deep inside. Should anyone ever venture into the heart of these woods they will be met with a wondrous sight. A large village similar to something out of the Sengoku Era of Japan. Rows of thatched roof houses fill a clearing with an open area in the center. This is the native home of the ceros. If one stays long enough upon arriving they will be able to learn a good deal about cero culture. For example the kitsune-type ceros do not get along with the tanuki-type and the same goes for the okami-type and the bakeneko-type. These and other such discoveries are waiting for someone to find the village and bring the inhabitants into the spotlight of the world.

Vaniwisp Hideaway

Deep within the forest lies a second hidden glade. The trees here are much darker in color than their compatriots and there is a heavy feeling in the air the closer you get to them. A sense of being watched also grows with each step and giggles can be heard in the air as wisps of smoke dance among the trees. It is here that any Vaniwisp that manages to get onto the Isle inevitably finds themselves. Sealed behind a barrier even stronger than the one intended to keep them off the Isle, no Vani has been able to leave these woods once they have entered.

Stellans Field

Deep in the heart of the forest lies a large field. Almost impossible to reach by ordinary means, few have ever actually seen it or the wonders it contains. This field is a gathering place for Galawisps who come down from the heavens to see what the world is like. Full of revelry and joy, it is like a boisterous party when they descend upon the field.
