Here in Aermerea, we have a currency called Pecunia Petals that can be earned in two easy ways, both via the Discord server: By turning in art of Aermerean characters in #art-turn-in, or by doing !work commands in #pecunia-exchange. Sometimes Petals are also awarded as prizes, and bonuses are given for completing specific prompts. In addition, there is a small trickle from just engaging in conversation!
Pecunia Petals have an equivalence to real monetary values when making purchases with us. If you really want to, you can even buy Petals with real money! (It should go without saying, but no, you can't turn convert our currency into real money -- there's no way of "cashing it out".)
Method #1
#pecunia-exchange
Every six hours, you can type !work into the #pecunia-exchange channel on Discord to earn a slightly randomized amount of Petals. Talking in #puff-chat also passively awards a small trickle of Petals, so all the more reason to be friendly and active! Petals stored in the bot's bank can also gain interest over time. Our site's shops withdraw from the bank, so be sure to deposit those Petals!
Command List
- !work Do a random task, get Petals!
- !crime Careful, you might get caught!
- !slot-machine x A gambling game where x is your bet!
- !money Check your balance and leaderboard position.
- !deposit all Deposit Petals into your bank.
- !withdraw x Withdraw x amount of Petals from bank.
- !roll x Rolls a dice where x is the number of sides.
Additional info about the bot can be read on the official UnbelievaBoat site.
Method #2
#art-turn-in
Whenever you finish art of an Aermerean, be it for yourself, a prompt, a gift, or a commission, pop it into #art-turn-in! Our dedicated banker will tally how many Petals your art netted you at the end of each month and automatically update the Reserve Bank. You don't have to calculate anything! You can check how much you've earned from turning in art at the Reserve Bank!
However, if you're curious as to how art is tallied into Petals for you, here's all the info you need:

Pixel art will be calculated normally then multiplied based on size.
Animals/pets are rated normally as characters and then halved.
Bases are graded regularly then have 25% to 50% removed off the end total depending on detail. (This is because its not as much work as art from scratch.)
Pecunia Kickback: Commissions turned in by commissioners get graded by the same chart but earn only half the amount of Petals.
