Every Rank I or higher Twilight Child has an affinity which determines appearance, skills, and more.
Affinities can be basically anything, but they are sorted into five broad categories:
- Elemental affinities are elements such as fire, water, earth, air, and ice.
- Kinetic affinities are physics-based powers such as telekinesis or gravity control.
- Abstract affinities are abstract concepts such as love or happiness.
- Technological affinities include things like technology, viruses, and mechanical objects.
- Natural affinities include light, darkness, stars, lightning, plants, and more.
