MetalClan cats are resourceful, making use of objects dumped by the Twolegs to build their camp, most notably the husks of the Twoleg monsters that have been abandoned in Monsternest. The hollow metal creatures, along with mosses and other vegetation found in the area, are used to make the dens for the entire clan.
While some clans may look down on them for taking trash from the Twolegs, MetalClan cats are proud of their ability to combine both the natural and unnatural to their advantage, and make use of a resource that many other cats would not even want to approach.
