Nyala
RELIGION:
Nyala works alongside the Egyptian goddess, Isis.
Following a goddess of magic and motherhood is quite fitting for Nyala, who created the original mages.
ABILITIES:
Magic Creation - Giving mages unique, powerful abilities.
Magic Enhancement - Increasing a mage's existing ability permanently.
PERSONALITY:
Kind, soft hearted, and motherly, Nyala looks after all the mages under her care and guides them.
Softspoken, Nyala is quite mysterious and is more of an observer.
Nyala is considered the first mage, and a mother of mages, as she created the original seven. She takes care of every mage who crosses her path, and always shows kindness to them. She is considered the most powerful mage, yet very few realize her potential. Prefering to avoid conflict, Nyala isn't one for offensive magic, and instead relies on her family of mages to protect her.
Nyala still resides in Egypt, where she has a small village with a few mages she has raised.
Nyala can call upon any mage who she has given an ability to, or enhanced an ability for, as well as the original seven.
Her greatest enemy is the only mage who can match her strength, a dark mage named Cipactli. While Nyala's lineage of mages are all born with an innate interest in practicing positive magic, Cipactli's line of mages lean more toward dark magic.
Graham
RELIGION:
Graham follows the Egyptian god, Amun.
Like Amun, Graham is known to be hidden and mysterious.
ABILITIES:
Time Manipulation - He can manipulate time to be slower or faster in a general area, while the rest of the world remains as is.
Protection - Graham is a master at defensive magic.
PERSONALITY:
A man of few words, he does is job but does little socializing.
Not much is known about how he actually feels or thinks, but he comes across as quite grumpy.
Graham has sworn to protect Nyala, and that is his purpose in life. He is quite intelligent, but rarely converses with anyone aside from Nyala. He prefers remaining quiet rather than voicing his thoughts, though often his facial expressions give him away.
Graham was the first mage created by Nyala.
He has never left Nyala's side since he was made, though often people do not realize he is around because he takes the shape of various animals to hide his presence.
While he is watching over Nyala's safety, Graham does like to take time out to read and record history. He quite enjoys documenting his journies with Nyala.
Mango
RELIGION:
Mango worships the Egyptian god, Min.
As a god of fertility, Mango relies on Min's gifts.
ABILITIES:
Infatuation - Mango can make anyone want to spend time with him, and they always have a good time.
Fertility - He can detect pregnancies as well as make those around him incredibly fertile.
Gene Transformation - Mango changes his genes often while fulfilling his duties..
PERSONALITY:
Mango is a charmer who gets along with everyone.
Lighthearted and fun, he tries to keep the atmosphere around him positive.
Mango is the father of mages, as his sworn duty was to procreate and make as many of them as possible. His brother's and sister have rarely had children at all, so Mango is the source of the vast majority of light mages who exist today. He continues to dutifully fulfill his job, ensuring there are more light mages than dark.
Mango knows very few of his children, but is proud of all of them.
He has never settled down into a relationship due to his dedication to his role in the formation of mages.
Although Mango is seen as someone to not be taken seriously by his brothers and sisters, he truly cares about the current affairs in the mage world and looks to do whatever he can to improve the world.
Nyneve
RELIGION:
Nyneve aligns with the Norse goddess, Frigg.
She consults her goddess when making decisions.
ABILITIES:
Magic Destabilization - She can counteract spells by causing them to backfire or be negated.
Protection - Nyneve has powerful barrier spells to preserve her facility.
PERSONALITY:
Although she can be rather blunt at times, Nyneve is gentle at guiding her students.
Nyneve is intelligent and loves sharing her knowledge.
Nyneve was created to teach the world's mages, and operates a large complex of homes, classroom buildings, a library, and everything else a growing mage could possibly need at their disposal. She ensures that anyone who wishes to remain under the safety of her property is more than welcome to stay as long as they need, even after their schooling is finished. She is seen as a motherly figure among her students and is someone most feel comfortable confiding in.
Nyneve collects dark magic books in an effort to study them and learn how to fight against the dark mages.
She has an extensive library, and loves it so much she lives in the building.
Nyneve has kept quiet about her origins and is seen as someone soft and kind, though she is quite able to defend and oppose threats. Her ability to destabilize magic was given to her to protect the young mages under her care, but also to be a main threat to the more powerful dark mages.
