In this ARPG you do the logging yourself unless it is an event.
Taking care of your logging comments is important cause they will work as proof to show that you really earned what you claim to have earned.
There are some simple customization which do not require an item:
When you catch a new pkmn but you want yours to look a little different than the usual dex one, here is what you can always do without the use of an item:
Adding some spots
Adding some stripes
Adding abstract markings (decent tho)
Changing the eye color and style.
Changing colors to darker / brighter and different tones (should be still the same color)
Changing marking´s colors
Changing paw pad, claws and similar small details` colors
Short hair of any color
Shiny PKMN can have sparkles on their bodies in any color.
If you want to dye it to a complete other color, you need a Mutt Potion.
If you want to turn it into a shiny, you need a Shiny Potion.
PKMN Evolution - Logging - with Art
To evolve your PKMN you need to reply to the comment on which you logged your PKMN after you received it (the ownership proof comment).
To evolve it, the Trainer replies to this comment with the following form:
Evolving to:
Requirement you did to evolve it: (If the evolution required art, link to your art here. If the evolution required the usage of an item, link to the log comment on which you used the item on.

Make sure to log the usage of the Item:
1. The trial part or event you received the Item on must be logged.
2. Reply to this comment with the link to the ownership proof of the PKMN you want to use it on.
Examples:
Evolving a PKMN with an Evolution Stone
3. There always needs to be a contra banking!
Log the evolution or customization on the ownership proof comment of your PKMN and link back to the Item Log Comment.
