Story

The legend has it that when a distressed human pours a cup of tea, a Chaimi is born. Chaimis are guardian angels that are born from tea to help humans with their stress and anxiety. Chaimis are human sized but only can show themselves to humans in dreams or if the Chaimi really trusts the human. Each Chaimi takes on traits of their blend.

Relationships

Chaimis live in their own societies and can form romantic relationships. Married or committed Chaimis swap the ornament on their collar with their partner to show a symbol of eternal love. Chaimis of any gender have children by harvesting the ingredients from their tails and brewing tea with it. Chaimis can form romantic bonds with humans as well but it is uncommon for this to happen. If they decide to abandon live as a Chaimi they must break their charm and live life in the human world.

Collar

Every Chaimi has a collar somewhere on their body with a small glass ornament with some brewed tea in it. Chaimis in committed / life-long relationships swap charms with each other and hold each other's brew on their collar instead. They rarely appear without their collar during the day.

Tails

Chaimis have teabags hanging from their tail. They are very proud of their tails and blends and decorate them with charms and decorations that resemble their blends. Their tails can withstand high temperatures and can brew tea by dipping them in. They get new teabags every time they help their human. These teabags can be harvested when desired.

Affecting Humans

Once Chaimis are born they are raised by other Chaimis until they are fully grown. Once fully grown they are called when their human that created them is stressed or anxious to keep them company. Every time the Chaimi helps a human they gain a new teabag on their tail.
