About Oculus Aries

Oculus Aries are a faun-like creature with a humanoid body, but with sheep legs and hooves. They have an extra set of eyes, one on each hand that match the eyes on their face. They have a variety of horns that gradiate in color and tails that can be a variety of sizes and shapes. They can also sometimes have special traits like wings, spikes, or halos. Thick liquid seeps from the tips of their horns and the same liquid comes from their eyes at random and when they cry. The liquid is quick to evaporate though and doesn't usually make a mess.
Oculus Aries are herding creatures. They find safety in numbers and tend to stay together in large groups. If an Aries is stranded alone they rely on their last line of defense, their tears, which can prove poisonous to some predatory animals.
Corruption
The Oculus Aries species is haunted by a plague they refer to as Corruption. When an Oculus Aries is born, their skin is pure and flawless, but as they are exposed to the corruption it begins to take them over as well. The corruption is a rash of eyes that will slowly develop and spread over large areas of the Aries' face and body. If the corruption spreads too close to the Aries' eyes, it will take it over, as well as their nose and mouth until the Aries is completely senseless. The corruption spreads faster when the Aries are in distress or weak.The corrupted eyes are their own entity. They will blink to keep themselves alive and will react to stimulus, but they are not controlled by the Aries. The Aries can not see through them. When an Aries loses their mouth they can no longer speak. When they lose both their eyes they can only see through the eyes in their palms.
So far there is no cure, but the Aries do have one natural defense that has evolved with them. The thick liquid that seeps from their eyes and horns is one small deterrent, but the best way to combat it is to try and stay optimistic. Even still, the corruption is still inevitable so scientists are still looking for other more foolproof ways of keeping the corruption at bay.

- After the MYO is approved it may be uploaded to toyhouse or dA and added to the character database in the Oculus Aries world
- When the MYO is approved normal adopt rules above will apply.

Prices
an all common myo slot is 10.5 usd or 1500 points.
to add a trait rarity you must pay an additional charge.
uncommon - + 1.0 usd or 200 points
rare - + 2.0 usd or 400 points
legendary - + 3.0 usd or 600 points.
so for example an adopt with 2 uncommon traits and 1 rare trait would be 14.5 usd or 2300 points.
as you can see its much cheaper to purchase using USD.
thats because USD is more valuable to us. since we can use it to buy things irl. Points can only
be used to purchase things on dA so they are not as valuable to us.
In addition to purchasing traits individuall, you could also purchase an MYO ticket by the rarity of the traits you want to use.
all common - 10.5 usd or 1500 points
Common through Uncommon - 13.5 usd or 1700 points
common through Rare- 15.5 usd or 2000 points
Unlimited - 20.5 usd or 2500 points.
with one of these type of myos you can have as many traits you want within the rarity you choose.
So if you wanted an myo with 3 uncommon traits and 2 rare traits it would be cheaper to buy the Common through rare pack
than to pay for the traits individually.

If you have an Oculus Aries but you don't like a few of their traits this is the place to be!
Here you can change traits on an Oculus aries.
Or add traits to an MYO Ticket that you haven't made yet!
You can take away or add traits
or change traits you already have!
But be careful! because an Aries can only have its traits changed once every 6 months!!
you have to be certain you want the traits before you apply for the change!!

A Full Remodel lets you change or add any traits of any rarity for one flat price.
Full Remodel - 20.0 usd or 3000 points.
Traits that have no rarity like eye color and hair style can be changed at no charge.
however they must not be changed to the point where the original design is lost-
or that the character is unrecognizable to the original design.
These types of changes must still be submitted and approved.
Things that in real life, can be readily changed, like hair color or eye color have no limits.
But things like skin tone or the color of their horns or wings etc
must not be changed too much and these sorts of edits can be denied at the discretion of either myself
or another admin when submitted for approval.
Changing the clothing or style of an adopt has no limit and does not need approval.

Once your application is accepted (by either Tenshilove or another admin)
you will have 24 hours to send payment to the address we provide.
Once payment is sent you must draw (or have someone else draw) a reference of the character with the new traits to be approved.
You do not have a time limit to make a new reference after you've paid.
You may NOT upload the reference to any public place until after it is approved for the final time. until then upload it to a private picture storage site like sta.sh or imgur.
If you would like one of us to create the new reference just ask and we may be able to for an additional fee. (this is not guaranteed)

| When you adopt an Oculus Aries you are agreeing to these terms. - Do not claim the design as your own - Credit me and LyricLioness /link to our main pages/tag us every time your Aries is drawn!!! If you order a commission you must tell them we are the species creators, and ask them to credit us in the deviation. - All images of your Aries should be uploaded to the OculusAries group - You are allowed to change the design only slightly, hair length/eye color. Not the creature as a whole! - If you would like to change traits of your Aries you must note the group requesting the change, You may downgrade traits for free but upgrading traits will cost a small fee. these cannot be reversed so be sure !!! - you may NOT create new Oculus Aries of your own (giving them children, mates, family members is not ok) - You may not sell the creature - You may not trade/ give away the creature without notifying the group or one of the creators of the change in ownership via note BEFORE the trade is official. - If you decide you no longer want the Aries notify the group or one of us, and we will take it back. -You may upload the original adoptable ONLY to Sta.sh or Toyhouse. You must credit the artist! That means you MAY NOT upload it to your dA gallery or scraps folders!!!!!!!!! -You are not permitted in any way to draw, or have your Oculus Aries drawn in NSFW artwork.
