Secret Santa Event

Hello all! Long time no see! We've mostly been active on our discord server, so join that if you are interested in getting the latest info as quickly as possible! But I'd like to announce a Secret Santa event for our species! I have a lot planned for January so I wanted to do something for the current community before I work on some new stuff for the group!

The Details

This event will run from now until the end of December. Here is the timeline:
Until December 1st: Sign ups in the forums (https://toyhou.se/~forums/42076.secret-santa/351018.secret-santa-sign-up-), where you fill out a thread and submit your character to be drawn in a secret santa piece! Please only submit FMN/CDs for this event, you are free to use the Mascots if you don't have one but still want to draw for someone! Once sign ups close I will be randomizing everyone and letting people know in private who their partner is.
Until December 25th: You have this time to draw your piece for your partner! The standard rules for our monthly submissions apply, so please put some level of finish on this art piece! More details down below. The deadline to submit your piece and have it be on time is December 25th! There will be a thread to post and tag the person who is your partner so everyone can see and share their gifts!
Until January 1st: This is the grace period for submitting to still get points for your piece, though it will be slightly penalized for being late. People who accept an assignment but do not deliver will be penalized so please don't leave anyone hanging, I don't want to leave anyone disappointed!

The Rules

1. Please follow basic etiquette when submitting, so please don't do anything they explicitly asked you not to, NSFW in the gifts, etc. Please follow the general group rules when submitting art for your gifts.
2. A gift will be worth points in our monthly system, which I will be revamping at the turn of the year. So right now redemption will not be allowed since I intend to make MYOs cheaper in the new system, but your points will be safe for when the bank opens again. The exact amount is going to be determined once the system is revamped.
3. Please make sure that the piece is at least semi-finished, at least a colored sketch if not lined and shaded. Everyone's level is different so we don't have hard and fast rules per se, but this is meant to be a community gift event and we want everyone to be excited about their piece!
4. The character you submit must be a FMN or CD, this is meant to be a community event after all.
5. A late gift will be worth less points, and failing to submit your gift on time will result in a penalty towards our point system and/or participation in the next free art event, so please make sure you don't accept an assignment if you don't think you can deliver!

Mod Changeover!

Hello all! We're still quietly on hiatus, but I wanted to make a staffing change announcement! Alliure has moved on to other things, but we have an enthusiastic and wonderful new masterlist mod who will be taking the role! Please welcome kyubey who was already a mod but is taking on new responsibilities!

Because of Alliure's sudden departure, there may be miscellaneous odds and ends that need cleaning up. Please, if you messaged Alli and never received a response, or your kiddo wasn't uploaded to the masterlist, please let me know and resubmit your approved MYO to kyubey instead! I'm so sorry if anyone slipped through the cracks due to my unresponsiveness and the mod changeover, it was completely not my intention and I hope we can remedy any issue that has arisen swiftly!

As always, all of you are the best part of being a part of FMNs ^.^ Thank you so much for your patience!

Overdue Update - My health, MYOs, etc.

Hello everyone! I'm very sorry for the radio silence, it is very uncool of me and I really need to just update everyone on things since the situation doesn't appear to be going away.

Essentially, I've had to take a step back from adopts due to my health, and I expected everything to blow over by now but I recently had to be rushed to the ER due to some heart things and basically, I really need to be focusing on my health right now and resting a lot, avoid stress, etc.

I'm not shutting anything down or leaving the species, so please don't worry! Just, for now, I'm going to be a bit quieter. So here is my plan going forward.

1. Monthly prompts are temporarily put on hold - some of you already noticed I didn't do one this month already and I'm extremely sorry, I really should have updated everyone before now and I apologize for dropping the ball on this.

2. GA events will be paused for the time being. I was too stressed and sick to properly promote the last one and I feel horrible about that. Speaking of which, please consider checking out these kiddos from the last event who still need homes:

3. MYOs will be opened indefinitely, just message me if you'd like something. I'm open to most ideas and rarities just based on what I've sold (so if I sell too much of something I'll hold off on selling more for a bit, etc) and your idea! I can definitely be swayed by a cool idea. Addons are open in this manner as well. MYO events haven't been as popular lately, but I don't want to close off access to MYOs entirely since I know its a great point of entry for a lot of people! So message me here, discord, or DA if you might want to pick up a slot or addon <3

I think that's all from me for now. Please, as always, message me if you have any questions. I've been a bit slow to respond lately due to my health but I'm really going to try and check more often. Please know that no matter what else is going on in my life, this community and species matters to me and I will never abandon it. Just give me a little bit of time to get my health back in order <3 I really appreciate it!
