The forum has now a completely new section dedicated to prompts which can be used for TEF characters. The threads are sorted out into five categories: general, deer-specific, including magic, with access to other worlds and item prompts. The idea is that they're a bit more developed than the monthly prompts, providing more context and details to go with to nudge musings in the right direction. The list should keep growing as more ideas come to my mind. I would also gladly listen to others' ideas and include them on the lists, so don't hesitate to share anything with me under this bulletin or on Discord. However, keep in mind I would prefer for drama to be on the low in the prompts (at least initially, you can develop them in any direction you want).

The Spring Rally is here and we hope you and your characters won't miss the opportunity to be part of the celebration of spring in the Forest. Starting today, TH TEF will have a dedicated section in the forum for matters related to feral deer in the Forest. This new section provides two lists: one of feral deer, the other of potential predators. Alongside the lists, come threads for screenshots, videos and writing prompts on the topic of feral deer - in the Forest but also in real life which could serve as inspiration for the role-players. This new section is a sister to The Endless Herd Discord server and hopefully will add value to our community by fostering more focused and in-depth discussions. We encourage all members who are interested in this topic to join the conversation and share their insights. Moreover, if you spot any mistakes or would like to change any information, please contact one of the admins. The section is set on members only.

To use the opportunity of waiting for the season to arrive in the Forest, I would like to wish all the players and their characters a warm and joyous holiday. Hope the year-end slowdown frees up your time and energy for some amazing experiences, not only among the trees of TEF!

For the duration of the Halloween and All Saints' Day Event:

• Big Zombie Deer aka Velocity sightings. Casting any spell on them will give the player who casts the spell a corresponding piece from the zombie set. Hint: In case there are too many other players camping BZD - go to Display in the menu and lower the bar on 'Show x players'.
• Candles have appeared at the Playground and the Ruins which can be picked up like flowers and worn on default antlers.
• Fawn sets stick without the need to load them over and over.
• The Pond is bloody red.
• Gravestones are scattered around the old forest.
• Red flowers are falling from the sky.

Another very important news: Thanks to WildflowerDeer's lovely work with assistance from HappiAoi we can now enjoy a Fantasy Deer Generator to our hearts' content. It is inspired by The Endless Forest with abundance of features: colours, patterns, antlers and many more. To get a coloured design press the 'randomize' button. Scars, the deer skull and double markings can be added. Designs are free for personal, non-profit use. Players can edit the artwork as long as the original is credited. Happy designing!
