thank you for your interest in this species! before you get started making an MYO design or if youve just started owning a heartigan, please familiarize yourself with these rules so the experience is best for everyone !!
by joining the world and/or owning a heartigan or heartigan MYO slot, you agree to follow these rules. if these rules are broken you may be subject to blacklisting and any heartigans you own may be voided, depending on the severity of the offense and to the judgment of the staff. the staff may also blacklist users for reasons not listed here. blacklisted users may not own or be gifted/traded/sold any heartigans or MYO slots.
general rules
1. please be kind to other users! no derogatory or hateful speech, scamming, spamming or stealing designs.
2. please do not make off-brand or "fan" heartigan designs (designs that are made to imitate or appear like a closed species without approval)
3. heartigans are a SFW species! this means please do not publically post NSFW or hardcore gore art of your heartigan. candy gore, plush gore, cartoony and blood are allowed.
4. if art of heartigans is posted offsite please credit the species or creator somewhere!
5. heartigan designs may not be used commercially or as mascots for a business (although they may be used as sonas). they may not be used for profit but personal merchandise made be made of them for personal belongings, trades, or gifts (but again not for mass profit).
6. if you were blocked by the creator this means any myo slots and/or heartigan designs you currently own will be voided from participation in the species unless gifted or traded away. please have the new owner update the masterlist with proof. someone can be blocked and/or banned from the species for any reason.
designing rules
1. please make sure you submit your MYO design in the right place so it can be added to the masterlist!
2. please do not heavily base any heartigans off of licensed or copywritten characters! they may be inspired but not too noticeably similar.
3. you may turn any non species design you own into a heartigan with your MYO slot as long as the original designer gives consent and is credited.
4. redesigns are welcome as long as it is overall noticeably the same character / similar enough! hearts cannot be completely changed but may be edited recognizably (a red heart to a pink heart, a plush cat to a living cat). please submit the new design to the masterlist updater.
5. do not publically post your MYO design anywhere before approval.
6. do not make harmful designs (fetishistic, bigoted, culturally appropriative or insensitve, n*zi or military themed, this is up to staffs judgment)
gifting/trading/selling rules
1. please make sure you request an update to the masterlist if your heartigan is changing ownership!!
2. all heartigans or MYO slots have a cooldown period of 1 week where they may not change ownership.
3. gifted or free heartigans or MYO slots may be gifted but not traded or resold (unless otherwise specified by ketchie regarding her raffles and MYO events).
4. traded heartigan MYO slots may be gifted or traded but not resold.
5. traded heartigans may be gifted or traded but not resold unless for the price of any commissioned art and personal art.
6. purchased heartigan MYO slots may be gifted, traded or resold for the original purchase value.
7. purchased heartigans may be gifted, traded or resold for their original purchase value + the price of any art commissioned art and personal art.
8. heartigans and heartigan myo slots may not be traded offsite. this makes it difficult for me to keep track of them and can lead to them getting lost. if youre looking to trade to someone offsite, consider providing or asking them to get a code! (exceptions for when i personally know the person)
