thank you for supporting our work! by buying, trading, or receiving a plushpon design, you agree to these guidelines.

📌 personal use

plushpon adopts are for personal, non-commercial use by default.

personal use includes things like:

• stories, roleplay, and worldbuilding
• icons, profile pictures, and fan art
• banners, headers, or personal branding
• create non-commercial personal goods
• creative projects made for fun

if you're not selling content of the design itself, you're good to go!

💸 commercial use

commercial use is not included by default & requires written permission.

commercial use means making money directly from the design or using the design as part of a product, brand, or monetized project.

examples include:

• using the design as a mascot or logo for a paid project
• selling merchandise of the character
• paid games or media where the design is a main feature
• promoting a business or product

• small stories, comics, and personal creative projects may still be considered personal use, even if they later become monetized - as long as the design itself is not the main product being sold or advertised.
• some adopts include commercial rights if stated on the original adopt page. this will be noted on the adopt page & in the ownership tab.

commercial licensing fees

commercial rights may be purchased depending on the type & scale of the project.

• small scale commercial use may require an additional fee of around 50% of the base price (limited or secondary monetized use, where the character is not the main product)
• large scale commercial use may require up to 100% of the base price (broader commercial use, where the design is central to a brand, product, or project)

these are general estimates & examples and may change depending on the project. if unsure or if you'd like to discuss details, feel free to dm us!

✂️ editing & redesigns

you are welcome to:

• edit or redesign the character
• change details to fit your story or preferences
• paint over or modify the original artwork with credit

the following is not allowed:

• designs may not be used to create new adopts
• use the original artwork commercially without permission
• repost the original artwork without credit
• sell or redistribute the original artwork file by itself
• designs may not be used to promote harassment, hate speech, or discrimination
• artwork may not be used for ai training, datasets, or machine learning systems

variants

you may create alternate versions such as:

• au versions
• different species or styles
• redesigns or alternate forms

all versions are considered the same adopt. alternate versions may not be separated or sold individually. if the design is transferred or resold, all versions must stay together.

🧸 ownership & credit

• you own the character design once payment is complete
• plushpon retains copyright to the original artwork
• all sales are final
• you may resell, trade, or gift the design following these rules
• we may still share the original artwork online
• when sharing the original artwork or design, please credit plushpon as the designer. ^{this does not need to be repeated every time, but should be included at least once when first posting.}

🔁 resales & trades

you may resell or trade your adopt.

value can increase with added work such as:

• commissioned art/media
• your own artwork at your usual rates

please keep records of value added if you plan to resell!

♻️ trades

• trade value should match the original value or voucher amount
• proof of the original trade may be requested

🚑 emergency resales

if you need to resell quickly due to an emergency, please contact us, we're happy to help!

⚠️ important

we only discuss adopts through official accounts and will never request payment elsewhere. if something seems suspicious, please contact us.

filing a payment chargeback after receiving a design may result in the design being revoked & the user being blocked from future sales.

breaking these guidelines may result in:

• loss of resale or trade permissions
• removal from future sales
• being blocked from purchasing
