Mimiru was mutated as a Kokomon by a virus it scrambled hir DNA and caused hir to mutate and develop a darker colour scheme and ruby like protrusions from hir body upon digivolution to Lopmon mutated even hir attacks and thus shi didn't feel like a lopmon anymore. Shi was seen by another fiery digimon birdramon and when asked hir species Mimiru didn't know what to say shi basically had no identity anymore so Birdramon decided to give the smol digimon an identity Canicusmon the name mean born from fire on account of hir markings and rubies on hir head. Mimiru heard that name and was mesmerized however at the same time insecure cause there was no such thing as a Canicusmon and now shi was one.

Mimiru is a shy softspoken digimon very insecure about hir mutation shi often times will avoid battle to avoid exposing hir mutation and hir strange powers. Mimiru will always wear an accessory shi found over hir head to prevent anyone from seeing hir rubylike projections. Mimiru is however not afraid of digieggs and because of hir fire powers shi has a warmer nature and is willing to warm digieggs that need the warmth whether they be cold or just lonesome Mimiru will do what shi can to help often times wrapping hir ears around the eggs and carrying them till hatching time. Mimiru will hum from time to time it is the best way to communicate hir emotions normally a softspoken quiet hum can be heard when shi is around and this is standard as Mimiru is often times alone finding hir isnt hard and keeping up with hir isnt because shi is a massive klutz shi will trip over hir ears and immediately grab hir hat to keep hir ruby projections from being seen.
