I apologise sincerely for the unscheduled downtime today from 00:10~2:40 site time.
To summarise the root cause:
- Our host’s ISP went into maintenance during this period (basically you can think of this as the host of our host)
- Normally during maintenance, our host uses a back up ISP in order to keep the site up, and we should never experience downtime; maintenances are always being conducted in the background to keep us up-to-date and secure. However, the back up ISP experienced downtime during today’s maintenance, leading to the site becoming inaccessible until maintenance was complete.
This maintenance was only related to network access of the site, so did not affect any stored data, nor does it reflect problems with the long-term stability or security of the site. The servers and server contents are safe, they just got disconnected from the public internet during the maintenance.

We are currently considering options for migration to a service with more downtime protection to prevent recurrence in the future.
